What happens if I've done all of the above, and it's been 9 months (I've said it all 3 times already), and there's no changes? 🙃

There’s no excuse, when someone is asked many times what do to learn about relationships. It is their responsibility when you’re giving them the chance to. They have to want to change.

Many times they just will not change and you need to get out before it makes you ill, one-sided is incredibly draining and will take it's toll.

Thank you so much , my girlfriend was always complaining about me not showing any love but I never even noticed and it was because I was relationally challenged my parents were never together while I was younger and my mom only just got a boyfriend and I've never really known how these things worked and it made me so upset because I never even noticed most of the things she pointed out and all of these things pointed back to me being relationally challenged

Narcissist, and extreme introvert are additional contributing factors. Although professionally undiagnosed, someone who insists their needs are met repeatedly, and to the detriment of their spouse, makes problems harder to solve. 😢And no external counseling /advisors are allowed. Literally on my own to figure things out or let 11 yrs go.

Agreed. That sounds tough! Our $27 program, 10-Day Relationship Makeover is a good place to start. Even if it's just you participating! You can find the link to that in the description of this video!

I did not want to listen to what you were saying and I realized it's because I'm angry. By the time you finished tip number two, you'd won me over. I could not deny the logic. It is silly to expect the person who is relationally challenged to lead the relationship back to a healthy place. And so thank you. You helped me realize that I have no good reason to be angry and expect the other person to make things right.

My problem is with myvparents and community. I am in a forced dependency situation where my economics and social life are controlled. I went through multiple organizations and jobs trying to get away. But there is never enough money for independence, just enough to pay back family members and loan predators in the community. Im trying to have a better relationship with my mother who I know just cares about safety and material things. What would you suggest in a situation like this.

In most cases you are dealing with an egoncentric or some traits of a narcissism. No cure , no terapy. Leave as quickly as possible

My health is low, when ive been an athlete and healthy my whole life till these past three years. I thought it might be from covid but i dont know. Cant seem to get back to my old health. Tired, irritated, melancholy every day. Its not super bad, and I think he's doing his best but emotionally unavailable and usues all kinds of tactics to play head games to make me feel like i am being needy when hes the one who seems shut down. As i have adjusted, i feel im losing myself....im depressed and anxious, unhappy, bitter i guess. After four years do i just leave...?

if your partner is relationally challenged you'll probably be doing all these things already. and in most cases you taking the lead will be exhausting. just hope they wake up in time before you both get sick of eachother and break up.

What about a 20 year old son who said,” I don’t need a relationship with you” but lives in your home and has never made a penny in his life. I kicked him out and changed the locks. He’s shut me out since he was 13 and I’ve been rejected and guilty and jumping through hoops for 7 years.

I would’ve said, it’s up to you if you want or don’t want a relationship with your mother. But since you’re living in this house, see me as your landlord and pay rent.
      If not, find another landlord.
