- We're Malin and Alex, a Swedish/British couple who travel and live full-time in our self converted van in Spain. We're currently in Galicia where we are visiting some amazing places, including the picturesque town of Combarro, the stunning beaches of Lanzada and Furnas as well of the beautiful city of La Coruña. As per usual, it isn't all a smooth ride. For the first time we get caught by the military police for flying our drone! What did we do wrong? Find out in today's vlog.

Hi lovelies and welcome back to yet another Vlog. We managed to put one together sooner than we had planned. We hope you enjoy watching it and please don’t forget to click the like button and leave a comment 🙏💛
The restrictions on drones are getting tight here in the US all the time , especially over private property. Right now I think everyone is in a sort of feeling of uncertainty over the future and where all this is leading. The great thing is you both have each other and the options to do what makes sense for today and tomorrow and the freedom to do it. I sometimes get that "runaway train feeling" like were all on the train but there is no one at the controls which is not good. I also think there is a light at the end of the tunnel so don't let anything take away your smile. All the best!
Yeah drone restrictions are becoming more and stricter and we have the mavic mini so we are less restricted. Yeah we do have each other and that’s a blessing. So grateful for that! We’re in the process of figuring things out and I’m sure that in the end whatever we choose to do in the end. We have some ideas.
ggood night.love it! perfect picture,👐
Always love your content!!!💜✌️☮️
Thanks we really appreciate that 😊💛
Great video guys...bit unnerving about the drone..but you are both fine..so that's the main thing xx
Thanks! The guardia civil officers were incredibly friendly and we didn’t get fined or had the drone confiscated. Obviously we didn’t film the event 😂
@@TimezoneJunkies Sorry to say. But I think you guys must be doing something illegal with the drone and that's why you get caught. Also you did not have guts to film it, because you were at fault the first place. That's the other reason you are not telling the whole story to all. Now by telling everyone that, "if you fly drone in Spain, you will get arrested", you are just like the typical SCARE MUNGER. You don't know the rules, regulations and ignorent, that does not make everyone like you. So please remove this video and try to post a proper video & be 100% honest and tell everyone the truth and about your fault.
@@Tahsin_Hussain we flew in a temporary no fly zone that didn't show up on the dji map. WE explain that in the video. Thanks for watching.
@@TimezoneJunkies You should use Drone Assist or other European drone flyzone map. DJI won't show all no fly zone area.
So YOU WERE AT FAULT, as this may cause serious accident and may cost lives, if your drone hit a passenger plane or helicopter to crash.
@@Tahsin_Hussain thanks for your advice and thanks for watching.
Well put together video!
Lovely music!
Who is it by please?

What song is this in the background?
Galicia looks great
It’s stunning 😊
I want to buy 249 gram drone to take to Salou spain did u manage to register I’m struggling to find how to do it all legally
I too will be visiting Spain and also wanna fly my drone for recreational. How and where do I get this permit online?
We didn’t get a permit. We registered our drone. It’s probably most advisable to use the app “enaire” to see where your allowed to fly in Spain. The DJI map doesn’t show all local restricted areas.
So how do you register the done
@@superstardj66 I decided not to bring it to Spain. Not worth the trouble. Plus when I checked lot's of restricted areas. I just came back and the whole time I was there I did not see one single drone being flown.
Can you please make a detail video how and why they caught you for flying a Drone.
We are coming for a holiday in Spain and I want to bring my DJI Mavic Mini, which is under 249 gm, I also have lincence (flying and operator ID), also follow all the rules and always check Drone Assist to check for any No fly zone area.
Where in Spain did you fly it?
Did they show you reason, why they are arresting you?
@@Tahsin_Hussain My hunch is the local's themselves will report you. Plus the local authorities don't know the rules about drones as well. The whole 2 weeks I was there I did not see a single drone in the sky.
you ned put fireproff sticers with name address and phone number on the drone and batterys 250 gram max reg on page with cam
Thanks for the info. The officers told us all those things. They were very nice about it 😊 Thanks for watching and leaving a comment 🙏

Firstly we weren’t arrested. We were just told we couldn’t fly it there and informed what to do to fly legally in Spain. Secondly the officers where very friendly with us and let us go without any issues.
They asked everyone on the beach if they had been flying a drone and we said it was us.
did you manage to fly? what are the requirements?
Just say your with NATO
