A better definition for tantara is that it used to be this old school slang kinda derogatory for entertainers back in the day but they’re using it in a more cheeky way kinda like saying they don’t care who looks down on them.
Tantara was used as derogatory term for entertainers/singers/dancers in the late 80’s and 90s even early 2000s idols were seen as talentless puppets. So from what I know they’re saying something along the lines of “Yeah we’re idols, but we do it better than you. We perform and you can snap a picture.” In English we say “take a picture it will last longer“ to mock people right? They’re saying it the same way. They want to party as they know the way around the stage. Bobby says the team will plow straight through the hate because they’re levels above the hate. So while they receive criticism those hating dig their own graves. IKON was born thru several survivals so they say that they have no fear of what’s to come and will dive into unknown territory.
Even thru it all idols get constantly mocked for not being very talented but iKON is saying “then we will OWN IT take it and FLY high, you’ll party with us too” so it’s a pretty fun song but with very Korean laced lyrics.
I mean..duhh iKON was named as to be seen as Koreans icon. Because of this it’s really hard to understand all the different meanings and sayings they take inspiration from. They are very witty and the reason guys are especially big fans of them.
Thank you for reacting. If you dig deep into iKON, I'm sure you'll be amazed. They are a unique hip-hop group that can do any genre. That group is an inspiration; they work their asses off just to get to this stage.

Thank you for reacting to iKON (i-con like iconic). They really are a great group. iKON has a lot of diverse genre in music. Their main rapper is Bobby, he also has some solo work like U Mad and Hol Up.
