AT Section Hike - EP15 Part 1 - Fahnestock SP, NY to Stormville, NY

Mile Marker 1424.8 to Mile Marker 1436.9
Part 1 of 9 - This video part of a series of videos documenting my 147 Mile Section Hike that I took along the Appalachian Trail in May 2021...as I go North Bound (NoBo) on my quest to hike the 2,200 Mile long AT.
This AT Section Hike went from Fahnestock State Park, NY to Dalton, MA.
Part 1 focuses on traveling to the AT Trail Head from Shepherdsville, KY and Day 1 Hiking from Fahnestock SP, NY (Mile Marker 1424.8) to a Tent Site in Stormville, NY (1436.9).
This Section Hike we hiked along the AT thru ½ of NEW YORK, CONNECTICUT and ¾ of MASSACHUSETTES.
This was a fun Section to hike. We had NO RAIN for 9 Days...instead we had a HEAT WAVE - as temps were 15 degrees above normal. We had clear BLUE Skies that provided breath taking views. We were treated to memorable sites, destinations & views along the entire journey!
