I can now say I've been to Filippi's but not the PB location. It was really good! I may need to run this back with all the recommendations I've gotten.
@@jeremyrpittman the PB and Little Italy locations are the only stores that use active live yeast for their dough. It gives it that sourdough bite to it. It’s such difference! You gotta try it. The other locations somehow mess it up.
Funny, I like square but regents, Luigi’s and bronx are better in my opinion. Could be that I always order whole fresh pies though. Ambrogio15 is my #1! I always order the Quattro formaggi
Oh interesting! I may have to run it back and get the full pies. I think Luigi's was my favorite NY style. Definitely not an unbiased review on my part! Hah
That's fair. I thought about doing pepperoni across the board but my wife was not a fan of that plan. I'll have to give Bronx another try because everyone loves them. For me it would be great late night pizza after drinking but I don't see myself going out of my way to get it.
Try franks pizza joint in el cajon my favorite New York style pizza
Thanks for the rec... adding Frank's to my list!
Franks is pretty good
I wouldn't recommend their pizza.
I’m going to have to try square pizza! That looks delicious
Do it. You won't be disappointed!
Pizza Joint. Miramar Road. Solid NY style pizza.
on it! Thanks for the rec.
*Giordanos. (Chicago & Las Vegas (Bally's)*
Definitely been there in Chicago...that's the gold standard for deep dish IMO!
Add Lidos Italian Food Restaurant family owned in Lemon Grove. They have been at this location for 60 yrs.
Whoa. Why haven't I heard of this place?? I'll def check it out. Thanks for the rec.
My fav pizza is the #13 at Napoleons in National City. Ask for extra sauce and well done
I'll definitely give it a shot! Thanks for the rec! I may have to do another pizza tour just with all the spots I missed.
Flippin pizza in Del Mar has the best new York slice in San Diego in my opinion.
Yessss love Flippin! And the owner Jason is a really good guy.
Ok, now I’m hungry
Haha go get some pizza! 😜 I think I'm finally ready to get some pizza again myself.
Nobody ever reviews the best Pizza in San Diego. Filippis pizza in PB!

Damn. I want some pizza now. I went to the Mira Mesa location so I'll have to give it another shot down south. Thanks for the rec
@@jeremyrpittman 💯 you won’t regret it
Literally eat there at least 3 times a week
Square? If so you're a lucky man
PS Happy Birthday!
Thank you! 🙏

Where is best artisan pizza sandiego thanks
I really love Tribute Pizza in North Park!
Are you secretly a Ninja Turtle? 🍕
Yes, 1k likes and I'll upload my origin story. 🐢✊
Everyone’s hypes Bronx, but in my opinion its mediocre drunk pizza
💯 That is my take as well.
Ya…..no. Bronx is far and away the best pizza in San Diego. You can’t get a pepperoni and put it up to a specialty pizza.

You bring someone who doesn’t eat dairy and is gluten free to go and rate pizza slices? Really!!!!,!
haha well when you put it that way...but actually she loves pizza it just doesn't always love her back.
