Drain was ran to drip on walk pad not roof. I use Dolphin connectors instead of wire nuts. They have diase electrical grease in them for waterproofing. They are good connectors for low volt. Good stuff! Thanks for sharing.
Great video. As far as the wind goes, you are not far away from using your belt as a beard keeper. Mine always blows up in my face and ends up in my mouth like a bad nightmare.
Damn that compressor almost sounded like it was running backwards or something going on with phase balance or something ... Hey do you guys have Kriwan devices in scroll compressors ? Really curious about that ... Cheers Mr Curiousovic 😋
You might want to do something about that insulation on the motor compartment. It will come off and get into the mtr or blower cause a problem. Overall good diagnosis of the situation. See you on part 2.
I just worked on one of those last month replacing s shorted blower motor. The mounting plate has to be replaced along with the motor, which even when I maxed the drive pulley I still didnt have enough room to align the pulley. Please show how the hell you get that hinge bar back into its home, mine was to good for its home😆
Sometimes I think that the companies that manufacture air conditioning do not calculate it well in the design always in the unit that they have two compressors always one compressor that burns because it is a good question I will wait for your next video with the change of compressor.
Does anyone know a fault that could change the phase rotation of the unit? Some weird condition? That compressor sounds backwards. Could that also explain how the other compressor shorted to ground?
It's interesting how techs will say 'all three connections on a motor are grounded'.. Unless one of the windings is blown apart, or by some other means disconnected from where it belongs, all the windings will show grounded if any do.
Looks like You were there before the way those wires are neat and zip tied..great video son..love how safety is your top priority 👍🥰

I was quite proud of my work on that condensate drain !
Thanks, Bill and you are one thorough individual! A-PLUS!

As NorCal Dave says “Multiple offender!”

Post a video of the repairs if they approve. How'd the heat exchanger look? If it's shot might be new unit time with a that work.
That's probably going to be part 2 😁👌 #HolyHeatExchangerBatman
Hope they approve those repairs!!

Definitely a multiple offender! Good work bro
Kool. Can wait for the follow up.. Thanks C
Nice job Bill..!
Keep posting videos.
Enjoyed watching !
You should change ball bearings on blower and shaft why you at it. Go full throttle
Carry a few bungee cords in your tool bag. Great for tying down wind driven doors.
very nice! love me some lennox L series
Will there be a follow up video soon? I hope :) Love your Videos :)
I love those days
Good little vid Bill ...
Just a random question, but on the outside air temperature sensor, is there any reason you wouldn't use like butt splices to fix those wires?
Couldn't fix it with out replacing the sensor because the terminals broke off the sensor. Nothing to reconnect to
Not a fan of the wind either ever since it broke my Supco Magnetic Umbrella
wind broke mine also, only the second time i used it
Mine went off a rooftop and broke the magnet and umbrella..... then the wind stopped...lol
Thank you for making this video 👍

This would make a nice follow up video!!!

just missed 1 thing should have checked the heat exchanger before that customer puts all kinds of money into that old unit
I'm just looking for part 2

THESE L series are the death of me. The PCB digital displays codes...
yay new video xD
#268 thumbs up
I can’t help it, I was expecting you to break into “just got paid” or “Jesus just left Chicago”. Jk
👍👍👍
Sounds backwards
Man you stay on some roofs.
Wat do you mean 7 tonns? 7 tonns of power or wat? 7 Tonns of faults in the darn thing?
