funny thing about having too many cards in hand is that you can select a card and drag it to scroll the hand so you can see other cards
How in the world after playing maxx c, and gaining all of those cards, Paul couldn't couldn't clear the field??? 🤷♂️ With my weak world legacy deck, those heros would have gotten wrecked easily. (on the 2nd duel).

@@maysachan9921 lol... Dark law. My main concern was absolute zero. Like I said, if i was playing my "weak" world legacy deck and was able to have that many cards in my hand, board would have easily been cleared.
@@ericwarr9088 difference deck, difference match up lol some deck do well against rouge deck while some do well against meta but lose to stuff like Ojama.
@@maysachan9921regardless, if you have literally nearly half of your entire deck in your hand and there are no negates on the field, there should be no reason one couldn't clear that field. If your deck can't do so (like Paul's deck) then you should consider making adjustments to your deck.
@@ericwarr9088 I am really agreed, Im not sure what is his game plan there and I know for a fact that Cyber Dragon is NOT a weak deck at all, it is better to go all out in your turn than a keep it for another turn.

@@Lokolopes7 Yeah my deck heavily uses fortress dragon mainly for drytron/zeus/skystriker and scoops up Jizikiru once it deals with the problematic monster😅 though if this game had side decking I doubt it would've been a problem 🥲

Paul, love ya to death great vids and stuff but as a cydra player, god damn that 2nd game was painful like I’m sorry do you just not have infinity? Core search cyberload, get literally any lvl 5 because there’s no way u only have 1 fusion spell, summon ramp, xyz off ramp, eat, make another ramp, nachester summon itself pitching any 2100, summon siez, ramp eff, win. It really isn’t hard man ;-;
Yeah, I lived it in my own flesh for two years when my cousin played hero, But doing that left me without resources and also he had handtraps and a competitive deck
The hell are you talking about? It's possible he didnt draw into his other fusion cards. Yes he could go into double rampage then go into the xyz plays. But like he said dark law prevent the galaxy plays along with whatever else he had.

Hey Sam, not sure if you'll see this but I watch your videos quite a lot so I'm a pretty big fan. I love that you use Infernal Deviser to search the pieces for Flame Wingman, however there's one way to optimize your Sunrise play with Liquid Soldier that you might not have tried on camera yet. If you use Polymerization to fusion summon Sunrise with Avian/Burstinatrix and Liquid Soldier it allows you to set up the Miracle Fusion search as well as the Liquid Soldier Draw 2 / Discard 1 effect. For the Discard you would discard the Avian/Burstinatrix you didn't use for Sunrise so you can use both monsters for Miracle Fusion material in the GY. Hope this helps or gets into some of your newer videos since I love Grandmerge and doing flashy combos as well. Looking forward to the next video!

Well can you blame him with how not only was he OTKOd in the first round, Dark Law completely shut him down in the second round.
@@Mojo1356 APS should have had a better CD deck. should’ve been easy enough to bring Infinity out and take his dark law, then bring sieger followed by chimeratech.
@@User-lo9ez actually, no. Paul had a good enough CD deck. The problem is that without a graveyard, CD is pretty much screwed. Not to mention that like Samurai said, Sunrise’s effect activates if any hero but him fights. As for Infinity, it’s really hard to summon him when the graveyard is completely unavailable.
@@User-lo9ez the only hope he had was to use Chimeratech Overdragon, but even then, he’d have to banish enough monsters to even use that card for enough attack. Not to mention that card is also not exactly the best one out there.
@@Mojo1356 CD can special summon itself from hand, then vier would activate its effect, normal summon drei to make them level 5’s , bang out nova followed by infinity, take his dark law, then power bond into chimera tech, use infinity to negate sunrise
9:13 sam misplays here, it wouldve been better to fuse burstinatrix and liquid soldier for sunriser, liquid soldier effect triggers: draw two cards and discard one card (avian)
Then search for miracle fusion using sunriser and fuse into grand merge using avian/burstinatrix into the wonder driver link zone to recycle MF, then use MF again to make great tornado using liquid soldier and stratos
Yep, only true hero players would know how to pilot heroes to their full potential. That's part of the reason they can't top because most player don't know how to pilot the deck to it's full potential. Jaden BR does it best.

It takes an immense amount of patience and grind to build a great deck in YuGiOh master duel. Your decks are so damn adaptable... Love watching the videos!

If i'm not wrong, in the second duel Paul discarded a Machine Duplication on his End Phase, so why not just Normal Summon Core, Activate Machine, Special Summon 2 Cyber Dragon, xyz for Nova, then Infinity and suck Dark Law before any other play?

That's what he should've done but he misplayed the moment he chained Vier, Vier increases ATK/DEF of Cyber Dragon monsters by 500. Increasing Core's attack from 400 to 900. Machine Dup needs 500 or less ATK. So he screwed himself over
@@wonton2454 just a bad cyber dragon player in my opinion. He should’ve used Vier and the link monster to summon Chimeratech Megafleet Dragon. Then Machine Duplication Core, xyz nova, nova’s affect special summon a cyber dragon, then xyz infinity and absorb Law. He would’ve had core, original cyber dragon, Megafleet, and infinity on the field. He also needed to make another nova then attack. EH Zero should wiped out the whole field. Nova’s special summon actives to summon End Dragon, and attacks directly. Then you Cyberload fusion Twin cyber dragon for game.
The biggest misplay is not special summoning cyber dragon first. He would've had to have a cyber dragon in hand. Could've easy gotten 2 cyber dragons out with his hand and instantly gone into infinity. Cyber revsystem search if he has too. I've seen Paul play cyberdarks and cyber dragons and it's hurt both times. I play both those decks as well as heroes
As a CyDra player, I felt like I had to root for Paul, but all in all, great duels and great content Sam! Keep up the amazing work

I use the deck of jaden yuki vs jubel i fusion summon rainbow neos with neos fusion each game, easily and destroy my opponent with my neos contacts fusion
Tips for you against HEROes that going first - maybe because you won coin toss and want to go second yourself.
Suppose they have DARK HERO and set backrow, it's very likely a Mask Change.
Let's say you have Droplet, also have Twin Twister OR Cosmic in your Hand.
What you do is activate Droplet sending 1 any card, then, if they pass, chain your TT/CC to target the backrow.
If then they chain the mask change, dark law will be summoned on CL3
CL2 TT will destroy mask change
CL1 Droplet will negate Dark Law. This is costly, but at least you get to play. xD
Idk why people keep challenging sam to an online game. He’s the first ever remote duel champion he’s better online than he is in person
14:15 U could've just summoned shadow mist and set the mask change. Would've been better than giving him all those cards. Remember there's always a choice ;).

You can send cards to the GY by card effects under macro cosmos. You just can’t send them to the GY for cost.
Rampage is a card effect not a cost.
rampage can activate its effect but it does not resolve and it can only attack once
Yeah but he still he won't get extra attacks since it checks if the monsters were sent to the gy by its effect, since macro (or in this case dark law) is on the field, while he can legally activate it, he will banish 2 and won't get extra attacks

I feel like Paul threw that. Why didn’t he attack sunrise with the link monster and then the dark law with the fusion monster if he boosted his attack that high up?
He used Cyberload Fusion to fusion summon Chimeratech Rampage Dragon, Cyberload Fusion states that only the fusion summoned monster can attack this turn. So his Sieger can't attack

Paul misplayed really badly in the second duel. He said he had galaxy soldier in hand. Meaning he could have brought out 2 galaxy soldiers onto the field. then go into nova then into infinity. infinity suck up dark law bcz for some reason sam decided to put law in attack mode. then he could have done whatever else he wanted because now law is off the field. given he had 50 cards in his hand he must have had another play. EVEN if he didn't have another play. all he had to do was attack with siegar into sunrise. then attack with infinity into absolute zero. then negate zero's destruction effect with infinity. then sam only has wonder driver on the field and 3 useless cards in hand and paul still would have infinity omni negate for sam's turn to disrupt his play. very simple and basic.
EDIT: I was wrong I forgot that galaxy soldier requires to send to the graveyard but dark law doesn't allow that to happen.

Bruh it needs to send to the gy, dark law banishes so you can't a legally activate galaxy soldier, check your rulings before making a claim

If my Cyber Dragons was against this, with that many draws, Dark Law wouldn't be an issue since I can unbanish all my cyber dragons to fusion as a quickplay after filling the field. Or I would've drawn the card that turns all your monsters into machines and then use them for Fortress Dragon

If you go second there is a 80% chance you are going to win unless you get a bad hand, ill keep watching the unboxing duels. That RNG mechanic is more enjoyable than this, for me that is.
