A combat doll is supposed to feel nothing, no pain or fear. So calmly, she tends to your wounds after you were both struck by a car. The city is burning. She knows what to do, but not what to say. Not when the world is so much like her old home, the battlefield. But with a little coaxing, she might dream, of a date and the fair. Of a happy moment. Is that real enough?

The Commander is an older woman, probably mid to late 50s. She walks with a cane and has an eyepatch. She wears a faded army barret from a forgotten company. She looks suspiciously like the Doll. She introduces the Doll as her granddaughter. But those experienced with combat dolls know a Template when they see one.
