I believe the X-Men’s Storm was stated to be the mortal incarnation of Oya though she was also stated to have been an Egyptian Goddess at another story.

Why isn't there a movie about Yoruba mythology? Because some people prefer to blackwash European stories, like the story about Ariel than take something genuinely African and make a new movie or show.

Olorun is the supreme deity with great authority. While Shango is the god of lighting,thunder and fire.
