THANK YOU FOR DOING THIS DEL INTERVIEW!!! BEEN MY FAVORITE RAPPER SINCE HIGH SCOOL (IM 30 NOW) AND IVE NEVER SEEN HIM TALK ABOUT ANY OF THIS STUFF BEFORE! BIGGUP!
Del's second album "No Need For Alarm" is thee best album that defies Del's character and persona in the most purest and rawest form. That album is raw and is originally unique and still carries the whole essence of what raw Hip Hop is all about and how it's suppose to be.
"Fraudulent Foe with the strength of Hercules / the way you're on my dick must really hurt ya knees" the rhyme scheme is sick in this song those lines always stood out for me
Bray Jay my dude, I've bumped Ice Cube's entire catalog, at least 20 times over. I'm well aware of that song. Del has enough accolades to merit questioning on his history, not just to be seen as "Ice Cube's cousin", ya dig?
TheCondorjc Vlad keeps bringing up Cube every chance he can get to make Cube look bad for revealing who Jerry Heller, truly was in that "No Vaseline" song.
Yesuuur!!! "I can twist men into pretzels, my jet skillz can out run, cause it's fun/ I'm not done/ one or two can even try/ it's not an even try" Del rhyme schemes were sick
This Record meant so much to me. I was a kid back then, so maybe my taste in music wasn't as refined, but I loved it. So many of the songs that weren't even singles were so Dope like "Pissing on your steps" "Hoods come in dozens" & "In the meadow" ... I think that's the title.
Eye saw Del perform at Concerts In The Park in Sactown summer of 2017 and at Hieroday in Oakland during Labor Day weekend of 2014. This makes me wanna revisit & catch up on his tunes
I know Cube had lots to do with his early days.. believe me, but he's asking Del what he thinks of Cube albums this n that etc. how is that keeping the questions relevant to being about Del?
Death Certificate was cube's 3rd album if I'm not mistaken. "Kill at Will" and "Amerikkka's Most Wanted" were out before. Death Certificate is arguably his BEST most CLASSIC album! I loved it! Listened to it a thousand times!
That drum kit is missing a snare drum . And it's assembled poorly. And the Floor Tom is a different brand . And I'm sure the whole thing is badley tuned . Nightmare fuel
VLAD uses Del to just talk about CUBE - but he's not a big enough fan to know Cube's 2nd LP is called Death Certificate or that is the one with "No Vaseline". SMH
It’s Kool Keith and dan the Automator did dr octagon it’s Kool Keith first album after being in UMC. That album is one of the best underground hip hop album in the 90’s.
The first time I heard of parliament was after I helped my old neighbor cut a tree down. Showed me his record/cassette room and man he was stacked with crates. Mother ship caught my eye lol it was cool looking and I popped it in the vinyl recordplayer and HOOKED for a few months
Back in the day while everybody was bumping that fake gangsta shit, i was bumping Dels 2nd album "No Need For Alarm" constantly and let's face it the majority of the people that was bumping that gangsta shit where a bunch of phonies, and wannabees anyway. Becoming a gangsta in the 90's started becoming a trend, like it was the thing to do, and it's ironic that the ones that where rapping that gangster shit turned to not even be real gangsters like Dr. Dre's album "The Chronic" or when 2pac came out repping Thug Life and the same went for the ones bumping thar gangster shit, as majority of them fools weren't even gangsters. It's was a bunch of fakes and wannabees making them records and it was a bunch of fakes and wannabees bumping them records. It's crazy how influential music can be to make people believe they are something they are not.
I took a break from Del after seeing his shows was all white and he was never reaching his audience. But we looked past it which is dope cuz ahone ahone sleepin on my couch. dope asf
Xavier Zee No that not the case. Dels early material directly targeted black people. i took a break because it made it seem like he wasnt powerful nuff to reach his target audience. i’ll accept anyone as long as they dont try to tear it down or degrade it. like post malone. he tryna degrade hip hop. del isnt. im jus saying what it use to be. i can garentee im not the only one. thanks for verifying u date black women cuz most the people who only like white rappers or whatever that is black only date white women lol. peace go witchu brother.
At a time when everyone was flexing and trying to be gangsta Del was living on anime and comics. Love him
Catch a Bad One and You're In Shambles.... two of my favorite tracks of all time.

TheCondorjc Just listen to "No Vaseline".
Bray Jay my dude, I've bumped Ice Cube's entire catalog, at least 20 times over. I'm well aware of that song. Del has enough accolades to merit questioning on his history, not just to be seen as "Ice Cube's cousin", ya dig?

Exactly because he Produced Kool G Rap's best Album in my opinion Live and Let Die, as well as Death Certificate by Ice Cube
I really hope you asked him about his relationship with Tupac, Vlad. They were down with each other back during the Digital Underground days.
Walrus Life Oh shit never put that together... Dont see how I didnt but at the same time its hella easy for me to forgeta Dels from Oakland lol
Vlad still making lots of the questions Cube-centric.. damn Vlad cut that shit already.
cube had a lot to do with his career in the early days. its only natural to ask those questions.
Just listen to "No Vaseline".
John Wayne He has been trying to do that for years, to no avail.
I know Cube had lots to do with his early days.. believe me, but he's asking Del what he thinks of Cube albums this n that etc. how is that keeping the questions relevant to being about Del?
"I'm chocolate like a ball but my name is not Roseanne." "Ahonetwo, Ahonetwo" is the album's sleeper track. That bass is hittin'
Death Certificate was cube's 3rd album if I'm not mistaken. "Kill at Will" and "Amerikkka's Most Wanted" were out before. Death Certificate is arguably his BEST most CLASSIC album! I loved it! Listened to it a thousand times!
UCANTCEEME Gamer Kill at will was an Ep not an Album.

VLAD uses Del to just talk about CUBE - but he's not a big enough fan to know Cube's 2nd LP is called Death Certificate or that is the one with "No Vaseline". SMH
Del, Eligh, Eminem, Guru, Murs, Dr. Octogon are my top MC's
That's my opinion.
It’s Kool Keith and dan the Automator did dr octagon it’s Kool Keith first album after being in UMC. That album is one of the best underground hip hop album in the 90’s.
Hell yeah, Del and Murs are definitely two of mine.
MF DOOM
DOOM, GURU, Del, Rakim, Aceyalone, Aesop Rock
Death certificate greatest album ever.
The first time I heard of parliament was after I helped my old neighbor cut a tree down. Showed me his record/cassette room and man he was stacked with crates. Mother ship caught my eye lol it was cool looking and I popped it in the vinyl recordplayer and HOOKED for a few months

“Gangsta was in jail” 😂
Why all the Cube questions? I want to hear about Del and the Hieroglyphics
That new loco 13 album he did, the remixed version is raw
Classic.
I really thought that the album title was a reference to George Clinton and Del's use of funk samples on the album... go figure it's not
this ice cube interview was "great"...."good job" as always vlad.....
Del look like the type of cat that a come back and spray his job up after getting laid off.

J Sol Why would his show being all white stop you from listening? That has no reflections on Del?
kavierocks becuase it made it seem like he wasnt powerful enough to reach his audience

Del's a BUSTER
Do you know him as a person or what? if your saying that just because you dont like his music your a BUSTER GeT the Fuck outta here
That condensendiing "OK" reaction to everything DEL says doesn't work.Very amateurish. Show some respect. You're embarrassing yourself.
Who is he
He's part of the Hieroglyphics, from the bay area. His Deltron 3030 album is one of the greatest concept albums ever.
Kinda explained who he is in the interview.
You better do the research
