right? I love her more than anyone else (only except for Horowitz) because of the detail and how her music speaks to the soul. It's so neat and everything is in the details. I just can't get enough of her. She is the sole reason I'm still playing the piano today after 14 years. I gave up twice but picked up 4 years ago (I was 14, so quite old to start catching up tbh) when I heard her play the 3rd movement of Tempest. Truly amazing and inspirational. I am currently working on the Rage over a Lost Penny and practicing hard on Pischna technical studies for my muscles. Hopefully one day I can play La Campanella like her!
Classy! She doesn't try to impress with speed, she impresses with style, while making no bones about the fact that she could play as fast as she wanted - IF she wanted! Love this woman! :)

Op. is for 'Opus', it is a method by which composers assign a number to catalogue a set of compositions - It helps to identify individual pieces. Remember that an Opus number is NOT a good indicator of the chronological order in which these compositions were produced, nor do they bear a logical relationship to the order in which the works were written. To achieve better sales, publishers and budding composers gave early works much higher opus numbers than their chronological order would merit.
Comme cette composition semble facile à jouer ...sous les doigts de Valentina ! Une pianiste de très grand talent certes, mais un immense travail en amont pour arriver à un tel résultat ! Un immense bravo à tous ces musiciens qui font vibrer notre âme .

Valentina, I listen to music everyday cause my family is composed by all musician and I can tell you that you are the most expressive pianist I have ever listened to, congrats!
It's true. Even a friend of mine, a professionnal pianist who only supports real artists , takes her in high estim. Moreover, she gets great human qualities. It's not only a question of technic or virtuosity. She tells many things without a word....she is generous.
This is so perfect. It amazes me how pianists like her can play so perfectly. The music has so much expression in it. You can also see on her face that she truly loves the piano. As a fellow pianist myself, I really admire this.
This doesn't have to do with how well she's playing (she's playing really well, no critism here), but her hands look so beautiful when she plays the piano.
I've been working on this piece for about 3 months, and every time before I start practicing this piece I always listened to this recording. Valentina made this so effortless!!!!

This is so perfectly played
+Andrew Bren. Perfectly played? I wonder, you pobably never heard Rubinstein, Lipatti or Zimerman with this waltz! :D Her tempi chages but it's not indicated by Chopin! :P
+MusikPiratCH Or maybe music is subjective, people have different taste and you probably should stop going around to belittle other artists and others' opinions while promoting your own.
Beautiful waltz that unfolds under the twinkling chandeliers, bouncing with each sequence and ending in an accelerando that takes the imaginary dancers breathless
Estou praticando esta valsa, é linda e muito animada, e faz-me lembrar dos desenhos Looney Tunes. Excelente performance, Valentina !
Perfect.
And PLEASE guys, if you hate her, don't watch her videos and DO NOT HIT DISLIKE. Who asked you to come here in the first place if you already know you don't like her?
Thanks again for the joyful moment Val.

Brillante! Valentina La Grande!
Grande Valentina Brilliante
Watch your hands fliying over the keyboard is poetry. Thanks Valentina.
So beautiful, Valentina...
Could she be one of the very best Chopin performers? I think so. I really like how she plays it softly. It brings all Chopin nostalgia and melancolia alive.
Oh...childhood...I wish I had enjoyed you better. Now all that is left is some memories and a strange impressed emotion when I hear the classical songs of cartoons I've watched... :´)
Maestra de la musica me deja sin palabras, purifica el alma escuchar como interpreta
This is exactly how Chopin wanted this piece played
This is a wonderful rendition of such a well known piece, but no one like Valentina to give subtle variations to each little bit, instead of playing the whole thing more or less in the same style and vein. What a great musician she is, and we are so lucky to be able to enjoy her art.
Outstanding!!!
Your talent.........no words...
Belleza y elegancia
Thank you.
Beautiful performance, Chopin is my favorite composer.
