Xuv 700 is best for highway drives and thar for off roads. I am not able to understand how any one can choose xuv 700 for zanskar trail and still hope that the car wont give any trouble.
@exploretheunseen Agreed that the vehicle at this price point should perform beyond expectations and this kind of issue is not at all okay but given that the vehicle has outperformed all other competitions and after about 10 months of launch no one highlighting any significant set backs I think this talk of selling it due to one instance of noise issue is a bit unwarranted and hasty. The best of cars sometimes have to make frequent trips to service stations regardless of their make and model and price or brand.

Dude I used to think u r responsible vlogger. Before the verdict from company how can u defame Mahindra motor or is that u want some special favours from Mahindra. It’s same Mahindra which u endorsed in 10+ video. It’s quite likely u must hv done the damage in ur last trip. Another question to u in another vlog u said u booked 2 xuv700. @ 228500 then how come ur car is worth 28 Lakhs. What about tyre depreciation. Be gentle n genuine before comparing ur car with new car. A note to potential buyers too.

It seems the shock absorbers are gone….faced similar issues with one of my cars….however, the worry is this issue surfaced only after 1 trip to Ladakh where few bad patches and off roads were encountered

It’s best thing you do is sell your mahindara. I’m not against mahindara but my personal experience with mahindara ( I’ve own 2 Scorpio. 2.6 and 2.2 vlx. Everytime I visit mahindara service sentry it’s like going in sarkari dafter in 90’s. After that I’ve own Hyundai creta 1.6 diesel n four year it’s was just blessing. Not even single problemn servicing at Hyundai service centre was so wholesome but then I thought let’s buy jeep since jeep is every 90’s kids dream brand. So I bought Jeep Compass limited plus diesel 4x4 automatic … it’s been 2 years n 47k km it’s drive like a dreams. Not up to Hyundai service support but till now I’m satisfied. About Toyota I think it’s best for explore the unseen guy like you 👍
People be saying think twice before buying a mahindra, etc. It's a new car and more importantly is a car of the first lot.. When you send new car to service centre, even the people over there aren't sure of how things work in the car. For example xuv500 also had issues when it was new in the market. But later it turned out to be a great product. Stop hating on the product and appreciate the efforts that have been put in the product. Vikas bhai is blessed to be able to buy another car but if there was a common man who can afford only one car, he/she would've waited for the issues to be resolved. Peace

I did a detailed research on XUV700 and Tata safari. Finally I bought Tata safari dark edition and it was definitely a win. I have got 20 kmpl mileage while cruising on 110 km/hr, plus the stability of safari is unmatchable. You can go for Safari also if 4x4 is not your priority

@@michaelsonar7012 first of all its stability on roads, secondly its a beast in sports mode, thirdly the music system is much better than XUV700’s music system, fourthly its third can accommodate a well built individual quite comfortably and finally it can give more than 20 kmpl average if you are cruising at around 100-120 kmph.

I understand your attraction towards Toyota. Reliability is on another level when it comes to Toyota engine .
When he bought Thar and XUv 700 back to back, that time only I felt that he is taking the decision in rush and the same feeling I am getting now too.
These days Vikas bhai seems to be very much influenced by the so called his new gang and that gang have 2 fortuners . He may buy a fortuner only I feel.
Despite of multiple requests from so many subscribers vikas bhai seems to be inclined a lot towards the gang.
Look at the Leh trip, the series had so much fun till the time bunch of those ppl arrived and see the quality of vlogs post that. No creative work , only thing I could see is they were flaunting that we have lot of car in the gang and cars crossing each other like its a mad race.
Before that vlog had good moments by sulesh bhai, manuj bhai and Dharmendra bhai.
Really disappointed by the quality of work/content that is being shown in Explore the unseen.

Sir i think that this sound must have to do something with your servicing because even while in the harsh ladakh terrain you didn't face this problem but as soon as you serviced the car you started having this issue. I would suggest that before anger selling the vehicle show it to the workshop once.
The rear suspension is leaf spring rigid axle. Will definitely bounce unless you have sufficient load in the open boot. The bounce will be even worse than thar. Hope this has been factored in while deciding to buy the vehicle.
Again ...I strongly believe...it is the steering column replacement that is required...all will be ok

Mahindra is a indian brand & i really support the things they are trying to make & get in india. Everyone first model has issues even xuv500 has some. So bas kar bhai bhut ho gaya. Get some new ideas for content. Aj mahindra le rha hun kal, usko bech rha hun, phir toyota le rha hun. Kuch bhi karoge yar content ke liye tum log. Viewers ko full on bas banate raho..
It might also be that a small stone must be stuck in the shocks, especially after coming from Ladakh trip, the shocks going away in just 10k kms is practically IMPOSSIBLE, give them a chance, might be a small issue
Rear shocks of my xuv500 needed replacement within 25k kms and thats covered under warranty but the link rodsvand bushes costs me 12000+.... i. e walnut within is free but to access that u have to pay charges 😂😂😂😂😂

Volkswagan ke mechanics ne mera engine ka injectors chura kar doossri gaadi ke kharab injectors laga diye the.. there was a big scam on this.. check on vw vnto 2011 model kitne gadiyo ke injectors break down hue the.. I have a Tata Harrier now bhai its 100 times better than these foreign companies.. so plz stop blaming them .. every car company has flaws in it related to service.

It's OK to have problem if its getting resolved. Can be given one more chance to the same car to perform. Finally, it's a machine.Huge satellites with such a big cost get crashed at the launch.Nobody thinks of closing the firm for that failure.
XuV 500 also had problems after launch, was soundly beaten first by Duster, then by Harrier and Hector

I had a Ford Figo 2012 model, it was in top notch condition clocked 142K KMs. Took it till ZoZila n Kargil. Did all services from Ford SC. Had to sell due to stupid 10 yrs diesel rule in NCR. Wanted to go for Tata or VW/Skoda. Tata has great product but poor after sales service. VW/Skoda their new products lacked the quality of the previous products. Finally decided to go with Hyundai. Product is decent till now but good after sales service till now.
I can very much relate your feelings n emotion, unfortunately I didn't had budget to go for Jeep or Toyota. Go for Toyota they excellent product n service all over India.

I really understand what happened with XUV 700 is unacceptable but definitely it's not a new car as he said when selling to someone.. he has used roughly in most difficult terrains... It's always better to buy a new one rather than used vehicle in ladakh terrain...
I think you should check the shocker mount sir. It could be broken, hence creating that noise on the undulated road.
We bought top model of xuv700 as well. Took it to manali keylong, faced some major issues from the vehicle and also pretty disappointing service by Mahindra. The RSA told us they can help us after 2 days only. We came from manali on 17th May and sold the vehicle on 19th.

Vikas...I can understand emotional connection with car because is like an another partner in everyday life. In my opinion, you should have re looked into your decision of buying 2 mohindar vehicles as you had ample exp of using Mohindra XUV 500.

I would say, decision in emotion and being in hurry. Not all XUV's have this problem. Sometimes one of many vehicles have a particular issue and that can be fixed, afterall it's a machine. Even if you go for fortuner or Hilux you will not be sure that the machine will behave always.
I test drive Hilux today itself. It's a huge and muscular truck man. But frankly speaking that is not the product you need. Fortuner would be better.
But still rethink for XUV700. I am sure Mahindra will fix it. You work so hard for earning buddy. Think again.☺️

Dude your content is great, but you don't seem to be a real auto enthusiast. Firstly the choice of car XUV 700 was wrong for your needs. Secondly even if there is some issue with the car, it can always be rectified. You plan to do off-roading and take your cars to harsh environment, then breakdowns and few glitches are part of such journey. You need to sort them out or built car as per your needs. I faced the same issue with my bolero neo n10(0) which I have driven only 8700 km and the service experience was really bad ! For this reason I had to sell it off and just recently bought Kia seltos and the performance is awesome .
Sir it seems like shock absorbers gone kaput or shocker mount getting broken during your leh Ladakh trip. I hope you understand this mechanical breakage which is common with any heavy vehicle be it truck or cars...

I follow another channel called "Tacomabeast" where they do cross country drive and modifications. You might also take some ideas from the channel as well.

Earlier I was also going to buy XUV 700. But the waiting period was very long and it lacks in some basic features.

Good decision..If u are a true enthusiast then go for manual, I m from a hilly region n here there's a saying "boys drive automatic n a man drives a manual" n regarding the car as i had noticed ur trips are mostly to hilly terrain so just go either for Hilux or Gurkha(a underrated performer).Fortuner n Endeavour are nothing in our region
What a Joke!!! Gurkha, though capable enough, still is limited by its lowest in class GC, Fortuner 4*4 is a very reliable car and so is the Endeavour. I belong to hills too and Fortuner and Endeavours are definitely something here.

I would suggest you buy Hilux, and if you need back seat, you can get is modified for recline function or replace it with a diff kind of seat which can turn into bed, like we have in trains. Hilux fulfills all your purpose.
It may be a good SUV but not for doing those activities that you would love to do...but accepting the fact that if you are buying a vehicle at 29 L , U would definitely deserve some quality and service.....As you said, they make good products but when comes to quality /service its really unacceptable .... Toyota- has been delivering quality products , undoubtedly it would be a great deal for a vehicle like Fortuner ...

XUV700 AX7L AWD is actually a good-looking MPV, which is mistaken for an SUV. Its AWD system is only for gaining traction on slippery surfaces, and not for serious off-roading. It's a better long-distance cruiser ..not more than that..!!! HILUX IS ALL TOGETHER A NEXT-LEVEL THING!!!

The amount spent for getting numbers are of personal choice. You cannot expect those amount to get back while reselling. You got those custom number for your purpose. It is difficult to sell at 29 lakhs pice point.

The noise comes from either from steering rack / yoke plug. Or from suspension. Please check that.

Being as a traveller vlogger You can consider Isuzu Vcross also bcoz it comes under budget and You can do ample of modifications like roof top tent etc and luggage issue will also be solved...... If still u r think of Toyota then hilux is good option for traveling & camping purpose 👍

Xuv700 will give you a good resale value as it has the demand and I will suggest you to go for Fortuner 4*4 as you don't have a comfortable and family car🙏🙏
The most important thing to work on, for the Indian car brands is their Servicing Facilities.
Check these options , Skoda Kodiaq, VW Tiguan, Jeep meridian all these cars are 4*4 with great features and reliability.
Must check these 3 options definitely you will love it.
I can totally understand what you are going through. Hilux is a really good option considering the amount of traveling and camping you do.
Why you didn't go to workshop . It is a car . Even in X7 such issue can come if you take it for such brutual off road . Once show the workshop the issue . If unsolved then sell . If you read my comment do answer.

Bro,my suggestion for you is to go for legender 4×4.It is a combination of luxury and ruggedness.
Further the car is a pure off roader and offers a good economy.Fuel tank capacity is also decent.
After sales service is also far more superior as compared to other companies.

Hello.. I have Xuv 500 w6 2012 model - facing same issue from last 8 years.. there is a no solution for this problem..I am suer for that . Bcz maine ye problem 7-8 times solve kiya hai lekin after few days after servicing same issue ayega.. 🙏.. then also I love my Xuv .

Sir i would always recommend that you go for the Fortuner. It's a mix of both, a family car as well as a very capable offroading vehicle. Hilux is good but it's not a family car and moreover you have a Thar which is not a family car either. So it's better to sell both and go for the Fortuner.

May be XUV 700 has just a under body cover loose wait for sometime but if you still want to sell then on the grounds of reliability no one come close to Toyota we have Innova that clocked 420000 km and was stilll running butter smooth ,has changed clutch plate twice that's it no engine work other then that
First of all brother before complaining about these issues with car you should understand that these cars are not meant for the terrain like ladakh. You are taking your new vehicle to ladakh and after finishing the trip you are complaining about these issue. This is a car not a tank which you can take anywhere and expect the same performance everytime.

Audi mein Quattro techinology ata he, lekin kabhi dekhe ho koi bhi itna hardcore offroading karte hue??Apke pass Thar he, usko leke jate isko apne highway mein jitna chalana he chala sakte ho lekin itna offroading sahi nahi he bhai...App experiment bahut karte ho phir udas kyun hote ho?
I think, you should not be that impatient. The service centre guys do miss out on things at times. Visiting a few times is okay, if you face issues persistently then of course you must think about replacing it.
My relative has the same xuv700 awd and they also fed up with their XUV bcoz of performance and maintenance cost it's has lots of sensor and not working properly some time and Last not the least and main is it's fuel economy it's really really very less
