Guuuh I'm not even a big fan of DS3 but why does this combined with that first shot of the Fire Keeper holding the Ashen One gets me in the feels so much, especially with it slowed like this this track just perfectly captures that struggle, that mix of bravery and ultimate hopelessness of keeping the Age of Fire going and not going Hollow.
I love this video. So, so much. Finding myself coming back to it time and time again, just like a Bonfire I'm aching to feel the heat of in a slightly cold, rainy weather. Not to mention the Firekeeper from DSIII is my favourite side-character in all of Souls. She's just so... tender and pure, I can never bring myself to do an ending besides the End of Fire one. Thank you, young hollow.
I found my self going back to this music... And oh man, this hits hard, the more I play dark souls, hear it's soundtrack, the more I feel this universe, going hollow isn't something so different from reality... Truly a work of art how the game tells a story by these fellings, the end of an journey is always sad unfortunately.
