I just bought my Hyundai Santa Cruz. I love it. I have no intentions of buying anything else but I stick around because of Gaby. She is absolutely beautiful and a joy to watch 🤓
I have this car as of two weeks ago in this trim and ultimate too. For the amount I paid, I have gripes with 4 things: No ambient lighting, a tiny trunk (really, it's small for groceries!), the trunk isn't button-controlled, and not wireless android auto.
I’ve had it since August one of the 1st orders in Canada. They build them in June and ship in July. I actually found out it was already at the dealership before pricing was finalized, that’s how quickly it was done. It’s the 1st time I’ve had an SUV this small, it’s really a car with SUV Benefits. So yeah things like trunk space and a hatch that automatically closes are not needed in this class. The hatch is so light and not big enough to need features like that. I don’t have anything to complain about… it looks small but has AWD and can outrace any car on the road if you want to. For highway driving it is very convenient and safe to drive.
can't decide between this exact model and the kia seltos (2024) - i've been trying to ask my local kia (guelph, ON) about the 2024 seltos, but they haven't given me much. do you know anything about the upcoming vehicle? thanks in advance!
The lack of paddle shifters is really weird. I had a Hyundai Elantra Sport with the same motor and DCT. It had paddles. I find it very strange a N-Line (basically just a sport) doesn’t have them. Like you said. Even weirder since this has a DCT. My Corolla with a CVT, yes, a CVT has paddles but this doesn’t 😂
I have a 2022 Kona Preferred and thought I would get a NLine next year, but overall I am not impressed. I would have to test drive to see if this car is worth the price point stated in this video
I can not seem to find a straight answer about whether the more powerful 2.0 n line model comes with all wheel drive, just a front wheel drive version would be pointless and not a good indicator of Hyundai's sporting intentions.
Gabi great job love the videos I wish you were in the US. Keep up the awesome job and keep posting the videos hey, I wish you would do a K5 GT. I would really love to know about the packages in that
Tell me why, oh why, are Hyundai, KIA, and many other car manufacturers putting ugly black colored side mirrors on cars. If anyone thinks this looks better than if the side mirrors on this KONA were painted the same color as the car, well then, I don't know what to tell you. What really makes no sense, to get the side mirrors with the matching color of the car, you have to spend another $2,000 for the Limited. You've go to be kidding me. The black mirrors ruin the flow of the car. I have a 2022 KIA Forte GT, and it's the same thing, black side mirrors. To get the same color as the car you need to purchase the LXS. So, why not make all models with the same color as the car!!!!
Exactly… I have this exact car and a CRV, you definitely feel like you’re getting into a car more than a SUV, but it definitely drives the same except much better acceleration
The comment about the car being stolen is in reference to the kia boys trend. Kias and Hyundais are easier to steal than other manufacturers and kia/Hyundai are trying to sweep the issue under the rug
We did a video covering the Kia Boys trend and how it will not work here (we're based in Canada) . The vehicles effected were Kia Hyundais with keyed ignition in the US only. Canadian models regardless of push to start or keyed have been equipped with immobilizers by law since 2007.
@Kia Hyundai Channel I watched that video. It was good. It still doesn't change the fact that the parent company isn't protecting their consumers in the U.S. They shouldnt need a law to protect their buyers. Turns me away from buying a Hyundai/kia product. Thanks for the reply.
Bought this exact car for my wife. It's a rocket. I drive a lifted Ram 1500 and this car is very fun to drive.
That color is POPPIN'!
I just purchased a venue. I can't wait to get it, but I love listening to Gabby

Thank you for sticking around!
Down boy down!
Side mirrors, are they heated?
Does in-line have option for XM radio
Love gabby she’s amazing

@@SCraig-Handsome you're right and I actually have been loving it for my highway commute.
Would you guys over there handle importing a Kona to the USA if a customer goes over there to buy? Canada model have more tech
We’re only able to sell new vehicles to someone with an Ontario address. Otherwise, it is a breach of our franchise agreement.

What kind of tires are on this vehicle?
I just bought the 23 Elantra N. Any videos in the future for that?
We haven't received a 2023 Elantra N yet but we filmed a 2022 a few months ago! ua-cam.com/video/b4d9FY0FHgg/v-deo.html
2023 is going to be a Kia-Hyundai year, I just know it. Have you been on any of their TV ads yet, Gabi? You should! Let's do this Kia-Hyundai!
What is the ground clearance??😊
Hey there! Great work as always.
Have you got any information about the arrival dates of the Sportage Phev?
Nothing yet. None have come into Canada yet - we figure they will get them in compound and then do a launch.

Hi Sujan, Thank you for the video suggestion. If I can get my hands on one I will certainly film a video.
“Absolutely Magnificent Review, Quite Informative
Very nice hyundai good review

I wish I could but from you, but I'm in Washington State
Thanks for the great info!
Thanks again for watching, Glad it was helpful!
Where is Peter?
Hello, In Early 2022 Peter and his family moved out of province. He still makes videos though! You can check out his channel @peter lowe one
how long are people going to ask this... SERENITY NOW!!

I have a 2020 kona, and I like it a lot! But, let's be honest on the real reason most of us guys clicked on the video!😅
Your list of sales as impressive as your promotion speech plié tell how you came in 2022
couldnt see the car, guy standing in front of it.
Gabi 👍
It doesn't look like an SUV, just a normal hatchback with more ground clearance.
Exactly… I have this exact car and a CRV, you definitely feel like you’re getting into a car more than a SUV, but it definitely drives the same except much better acceleration
Would never get that color
Its definitely a bold colour! Not for everyone
It would be much more fun too drive if it had a manual, and it should have!
I find the dsg very engaging and a great transmission.
yeah, say that in a couple more years.@@laurenceholland8465
Young Lady Beautiful than The Car👍🌹

And is noisy as hell on the road.
Beautiful car, but Gaby is even more!😉
Thank you!
