Ensemble Réel | ESSEC iMagination Week Master in Management 2024

iMagination Week is a program from ESSEC Business School dedicated to imagination and creativity. From August 8th to January 12th, 2024, we proposed to students of Master in Management programme to work on the following theme: "shaping a desirable future"
Ensemble Réel is a brotherly duo, linked by painting beyond the bond of blood. One left-handed and the other right-handed, it was with passion, poetry and provocation that they decided to start painting individually before becoming the ambidextrous artists they are today.
Their universe is recognisable by the fusion and contrast of a colourful, rounded world and a more realistic style of painting. The supple lines of one artist allow them to work on chromatics, to link the face, and to embark on a dreamlike, inspiring and surreal space. The tears, on the other hand, mark a break, giving contrast and depth to the work.While the way they work together on a piece of art is fluid and spontaneous, it is around duality, destructuring and contrast that they focus their research in order to bring out a certain harmony from this chaos.As a whole, the work heightens emotion and catches the eye, allowing each viewer to find their own interpretation and open their minds to the complex reality of the figure in the work.
