I could watch Barney's video thousands of times, can never get tired of it.
Kinda funny in hindsight how being in a casual raid actually is more time consuming than doing tryhard speedruns. I mean, the runs on my main were almost never expensive. I could farm the amount of gold for that in 30 minutes, then get buffs and be ready to clear 2 raids in maybe 2h combined. That's a total of 3 hours of time invested per week on my warrior. But when you keep wiping or just dying and needing to reapply things... shit gets expensive. But the only bad thing on my main was pre-BiS farming (and that was mainly SGC and Truestrike bc they just wouldn't drop).
This series rivals, if not surpasses the greatest WoW machinimas of old. There's so much setup from start to finish, and the payoff is always spot on

Yer dad is right. Thats maybe even a little above average, alot of people would clear it in fragments over the week, maybe totalling 10+ hours in some cases, we were absolute clowns back then.
My first time in BRD, in 2005, it took me about 8 hours of one of the greatest saturday afternoons I ever had.

People need to account for everybody's computers sucking complete ass, monitors being TINY, voice chat being terrible, and everybody's internet being god awful.

@@Scudzzorz15 bro, people were absolute morons in the game. Nobody knew what they were doing. Even in the best guilds people backpedaled and clicked their spells. Everyone was dogshit. Even the best players are dogshit compared to the information Guzu displays in his HC death reaction videos.. Ion Hazzkostas 'mathematically proofed' that C'thun was impossible pre nerf, but did they try it with 8+ geared fury warriors fully world buffed? Nope, because no guild really worldbuffed back in the day until Naxx and no guild had so many geared fury warriors at their disposal.

By the time AQ was released we cleared BWL in less than 2 hours, but in the beginning we did it over 2 days.
