I could be wrong but I assume the HK's work culture hasn't changed one bit.. their job interviews are probably dead serious and full of grilling!! Here in N. America, most hiring mangers care most about personality fit... they are not too concerned with testing your technical skills if they already got a robust background check in place. I also don't really get why employees in HK nowadays are still hungry for their reference letter out of their most recent/current employer... I mean, what if your boss was a total douchebag? you think you could get a positive one if at all?
