As a life long mets fan I freaking love Jake. but honestly I'll take old school Jake pitching in 94 96 miles per hour good pitching getting people out going 9 Innings pitching full seasons then it's like he unlocked the cheat code to become a overhyped Madden player. Don't get me wrong I love watching him pitch in god mode those two Cy Young Award-winning seasons but he was always hurt throwing 101 with sick movement . This guy was a monster for us before he started throwing like Mike Tyson on steroids😂 I hope he gets well I look forward to seeing him pictures
@@LinkRocks tf am I being dramatic about? He’s healthy now which is great. I can see him averaging 200 as long as he stays healthy. But they might limit his pitching at least this first year and as long as he’s healthy he will get 200 or near that.
@Mike Ozmun Because in my heart, he's a Met. He's a guy I always incisive playing his entire career in Flushing, Queens. But now he's a Ranger. I feel as though I should root for him, but I can't.
I love that my team has Jacob deGrom.
You should. If that arm holds up, you have the very best pitcher in baseball.
@@moosemcgillicuddy7585 no way that the arm will hold up though

That just tells a lot when the whole staff is standing there watching him warm up with smiles on their face.
Don't worry break down time is right around the corner
Good luck to him,
I wish him all the best.
He looks so weird in a rangers uni
no question of jake's talent its that arm can't last 200 innings a season- i hope that training staff is ready
At this point in his career. If they can get 150 on average that’s a plus.
@@Noahlee55 Stop being dramatic.

As a Mets fan, I feel like Darth Vader at the end of Jedi. The conflict in my soul is raging.
Well also seeing the first batter get a triple is Jarred Kelenic lol
@@TheDrewdelaney Now do the rest of his outing.
Lol it's not that serious.
I don't understand. What's the conflict?

I feel like some pitcher is gonna come set with like 15 seconds left on the clock but still not throw the pitch just to throw off the batter
Leave the ridiculous music off here.
