For you people who were just as clueless as me on how to input nlight nair true, chase dodge diagonal, then as soon as you do that, input the opposite directional button, (ex. if you're facing right when you cd, press left) let go, and nair in a very quick fashion.
This isn't possible anymore, in patch 3.47 there is written this: The Blasters Neutral Light combo has been removed in favor of less time between the 2nd and 3rd shot on-hit, as well as a more consistent setup location for less commitment in 2v2 games and more predictable solo strings. Some power has been shifted away from the Side Air’s damage, in favor of an increased range of vertical follow-up attacks from the Down Light. Blasters Neutral Light: Decreased Stun of the final hit from 22 to 20...
it is possible with 1 dodge window tho. only if u hit the last shot in the dlight. and if u jump and chase dodge after you'll hit it very close to the ground and then u can input the nlight. but i don't think it's 70 damage
It's simple when u d light chase dodge cross hit side air and as soon as u hit side air hit the opposite direction as in if u were going right hit left
you can add a sair at the beginning to make it a 5-hit true combo, but it'll be DI-able. edit: DI (directional influence) was added in the game so blackholes would be harder to do. Basically it means that in the time that the enemy is stunned, the same move cannot be used to hit them or else they are able to use DI to get out. So old blackholes like sword nlight over and over again can’t be done anymore. That’s why when people make blackholes, they can’t use the same move twice. (light attacks are still different moved like axe nlight and unarmed nlight) so this means that after the sair in the combo, the enemy can get out.
@@EmilyVlr higher, he has scythe that is one of the best weapons constantly, also blasters which if played correctly can do a lot (boomie proves that) + very good stats and good sigs. the only downside of nix would be katar matchup, and thats a problem right now since katar is probably the best weapon
There is something really important about that combo, which is you can't input it easily while having 7 speed or above. That means it's hard to do this combo on Lucien cuz u can't have less than 7 speed on Lucien.

at least you have elo to lose as a blasters unlike me the lonely lance main who lost quite a bit of elo after katars and blasters got buffed and because bmg doesn't want to buff lance
Why do you need to chase dodge up at first if you can just do a normal dlight jump sair then you can chase dodge down or whatever to do the nlight and nair follow ups
Even outside of the true combo, this opens up so many more routes to follow up sair faster, and more reliably after dlight. Either they find some way to tweak dlight so that sair only hits true if you jump, or dlight goes unchanged and the entire sair kit just gets fucking obliterated like they did to gauntlets nair. But either way, I'm willing to bet this gets addressed when people start abusing it at the start of every stock of every game.
wait on the first part of the combo when i tested it i didnt need to chase dodge i just jumped while holding the D or A key and the combo was still true
for any newbies a easy combo that does good damage is Down light-chase dodge down air- grav cancel neutral light It has really good follow up and does good damage

The Legend well it’s only the n-light part that messes it up after the n-light it’s impossible to hit the last part without have dodge frames

Is there any advantage that other weapons have besides guns with the Nair priority when holding A+W or D+W? Like on guns you can do pivots easier.
