Great to see ya getting out again, well done!
Thanks, I really enjoyed this prospect, it was tough going but we found some gold !
Yep, nice to see some colour there Daza. I've been doing the same ruddy great hole digging, with similar results - I only hit a few slightly chunkier flakes on my last day, - but the sun was on my back, so all's well🙂
Good on ya, it's all part of the learning curve and what adventures are made of. Best of luck on your next trip out to the river and as always, let us know how you get on 👌
Good to see you back out Daz
Cheers, it's great to be making some more prospecting videos for people 👍
Stunning Scottish scenery and some nice yellow pieces too - excellent! Thank you MrDazP1! :o)
Many thanks once again SGP, The gold looks pretty good with a macro zoom shot, A few bigger pieces wouldn't go a miss 👍😊
Great vid and some nice gold at the end thank you for sharing 👏👍
It was all pretty small stuff but well worth further visits to see what else lies there in the gravels 👍
Nice one Daz. Gad to see you found some good stuff.
Hi Andy, it was tough going and I know there are many more rivers where there is much better gold to be found but I like the idea of trying to find gold where you have to work at it - spec by spec. I think we'd all love 10g days but the reality of it comes down to finding a few specs on a typical day out. It's telling the story and sharing the experience that counts for me. Thanks for commenting buddy, always appreciated 👍
Well done bud i find it hard to prospect new areas when i know there's plenty gold in my favourite spot 👍⚒️🏴
That's a great point Hobbie M.
I like the idea of looking at new spots, new spots to me that is, and applying the basic principles of gold panning to see what is lurking there in the gravels.
It's a long drive in any direction for me too so I have to make the most of the day.
Best of luck on your next trip to the river buddy 👌
G'Day Daz, Great video mate 👍 I've just started on a creek similar to the one you're prospecting. Take care buddy 👍👍Cheers Kev
Hi Kev, it's great fun learning a river and how the gold travels down it. Best of luck with your prospecting.👍
There he is🤩, Like a kid on Christmas day when i saw the UA-cam notification 🥳.
God to see you out again Daz, And of course always nice to see that you are on the yellow shiny stuff🙏.
All the best to you Daz🏆
Regards VGV
Hello my friend and all the best from this side of the North Sea. I hope you are well and still on the hunt for Mother natures precious minerals and treasures 👌
Excellent video once again mate 👌🏼 keep them coming
Thank you Peter, I'm working on the next prospecting video right now ! 👍
Mr DazP1, you are back again with another informative quality production. You have inspired a lot of people to get into this precious hobby
Thank you Sir, 🙏🌄🌳☀️🪵⭐
Thank you kindly DashFerry. It was a good day to get out into the hills 🙂
Did you camp up there? You show great patience and skill.
I have got my self a fantastic little caravan Terry. The big family van has gone and I'm loving the new base to start my adventures from.
@@MrDazP1adv3ntures I was cycling up the A6 the other day and a car with caravan and a registration including Daz came the other way , was that you?
@terrydickinson3296 Ha ha, no it was not me Terry, I wouldn't go as far as putting a private plate on my car as it brings too much attention 🙂👍
@@MrDazP1adv3ntures Not good for a A lister like yourself. Enjoy your adventures.
Not a bad day of pay in UK. Nice
Hi DEmma, I hope you are well, This burn looked like it had some nice sniping spots but the weather has not been warm enough this year to really commit to getting wet and dirty. The main thing is, there is gold in this burn ...
Really fancy a go at this thx to you.. Question tho, do I need get permit for any particular area in Scotland or just head of and try my luck.?
Hi Steve, you can try both, that's what seems to generally happen. There are places to gold pan with permissions available in the UK, but you might have to drive a fair distance to these locations.
Hi Steve, I would try Leadhills and Wanlockhead. You can get permits there
Thanks for the video Daz, great to see some new content. That’s lucky finding gold at a new spot 🥷
It wasn't epic but to find gold at a new spot is always reassuring buddy. Have you been out to any secret burns recently ?
@@MrDazP1adv3ntures I’ve tried two new spots with some great footage however no luck in gold so haven’t posted anything. But the spots I tried had textbook sluice bedrock running across the river. Might need a sluice to hit it properly as I may of missed gold as I was sniping
@NuggetNinjaAdventures There's no harm in sucking the gravels up where you want to snipe and to sluice them. If there is any gold in that particular spot the finer pieces of gold will be in your bucket rather than being wafted away. It's really hard to see the small stuff when you are clearing the overburden.
Best of luck with the prospecting, I'm sure you will hone your skills and find some of the good stuff...
@@MrDazP1adv3ntures thanks Daz. I’m on adventures in Skye at the moment so not sure I’ll have time to prospect up here. Hopefully be back on the gold soon 🥷
💪😁👍 love that your getting out there again mate, Scotland is so beautiful! Think i might retire there one day 🤔 Top video, top man 😎
Hello Andy and thank you for being patient over the last year, I managed to get out a few times last year but never got round to editing the videos. Hopefully I will get a quite lot more done over the coming months buddy. Have you been getting out to any rivers ...
@@MrDazP1adv3ntures love your uploads mate, they give me itchy feet. Unfortunately lifes become a bit more challenging over recent years, working/caring etc. So getting to a river is a little more difficult these days. Living in kent doesn't help either lol 😆. I'll get out soon for sure
I totally get it Andy. When ever the opportunities arise you need to treat your self to a mini adventure. Best wishes buddy and take care 👍
Galena?
There is Galena in the area 👌😫 but the gold behaves totally different in the pan to it.
@@MrDazP1adv3ntures fancy doing a video on your geology methodology?
Maybe not now probably content for the winter when you can’t get out panning.
Could also do a gear breakdown
And a video about licensing land owners permission permits etc
Also, if you get a polarising lens cap it will cut the glair/reflection from the sun. We can see the gold in the pan/mat clearly. They’re £20, think I recommend this last year
Some great points there Tony and all noted. I am on the look out for a simple point and shoot camera for the close up shots. I use my phone but that's not practical. The Gopro can't do close up shots at all.
I'm in Scotland right now sifting the gravels.👍
Pronounced wacky
You are right !
Thanks for sharing this. It's another language is Geology talk.
Nice to see you back on it mate
Did you think that the drone drone shots looked a bit like places over Marsden moor or Cragg Vale buddy
@@MrDazP1adv3ntures just like it mate
