The actual reason the 25% dmg cocoon isn’t used in competitive is because they are coordinated enough to confirm the kill after enemies hatch from the egg without the assistance of extra dmg. Combine that with the fact the slow sp provides area denial if they do miss the super. The extra 25% also takes away an extra hit towards super/hc charge
