I started writing poetry n 2014 full time to deal with the domestic violence marriage i was in. I guess it was 2015 I started writing songs. I would listen to my favorite songs and u would know what kind of mood I was in according to what song was playing. The lyrics to my life story set to the music of the song I was listening to would just pop in my head. I've rewritten "Two Black Cadillacs" "Blown Away" both by Carrie Underwood. Since 2015 i have went on to write about 20 or so songs. I just don't know how to get them noticed except Facebook. I can't sing them because my vocal chords r damaged from screaming and yelling for almost 12-1/2 years. My voice was my only weapon. And then my pen became my weapon. I could tell of the abuse thru my songs without ever speaking to n e one since he went thru my phone and Facebook.

Just because someone is singing and playing the guitar that doesn’t mean that they’re trying to copy Taylor Swift. There’s a lot of people that do that.
