Not sure why you've driven an S-Tronic everywhere in manual? I have the same Avant bought new, but the 252bhp Quattro. Very nice, quick car although with 8 to 10 mpg less than this one; it needed it's extended warranty though... I specced the electronic retracting towbar like this car has (switch on left hand tailgate aperture) - a very rare option.
Surprised by your comment on rear leg room. I bought this B9 over the BMW 3 touring because of the A4s space. Totally get what you say about the handling though. It handles beautifully!
@@ParagonCarsLondon thank you, I was wondering why sometimes feels a bit like that, another thing is when the car is cold and you go put it in D, it vibrates while you holding brake until engine is warm up
I've always had a weird thing with Audi. I've always seen Merc as the one people get if they want to look and feel flashy. The BMW is what you get if you know your cars and like to really drive, then the Audi if you don't know what you're doing or are a bit boring. I think it's the FWD, it makes me see it as a VW Passat just wearing a posher outfit Always liked the interiors the most though, especially with the flat bottom wheel I've never driven one though
@ZBYCHU I dunno like, have you watched many Carwow drag races? Tends to be BMW that comes first then a toss up between Audi and Merc These are when you're timing them though, in the real world you'd never know the difference
Understandable, I've had the exact same experience with the FWD. The A4 is very solid with a great interior, but the steering is a bit underwhelming, solid but nothing sporty. Recently I've purchased the A4 Avant quattro and it's a different world, it drives better & more sporty than the BMW 3 & with better quality interior & comfort. I'm loving the car so far.
@12:01 that is to protect the gearbox from stupid shiftings
These b9s are perfect
Always liked the Audi a4

I've driven the a5 with this engine it was really smooth and pulled well for the power
Very good video.
You should try out an rs4 in red. They are absaloute perfection
Excellent review
Does anyone feel at low speeds in city s tronic to be a bit jerky?
That’s just the nature of a dual clutch gearbox unfortunately. It’s actually pretty smooth compared to other brands.

Is better than 318d touring?
Is this a 2l or 3l Quattro or no Quattro?
2l no quatro

So you never drove an Audi but say they are boring ?
@@zbychu6392 just because they're always called this in comparison to their rivals and their fwd format supposedly worsens this
