Love this fun version! Home Free has now done this song 3 times. The guys all sounded great as usual. Love Tim's low bass growl. And Adam Rupp once again stole the show with all his cool sounds. He really has an unreal range.
One of the things I love about HF is that they pronounce and enunciate the words so you can understand the lyrics and message of the songs. These guys just have so much fun doing what they do and don't give a hoot if they look or act silly. They are just out for a "Good-ol-Time" . I would give anything to be at one of their song parties, what a BLAST !!!!
Another great positive song is “try everything”, they say they recorded it for their small fries! We’re little more fun listen to guilty pleasures, story time with him and episodes from the vault! It’s so much fun to watch their interaction while they’re recording these things! Almost as good as they’re live performances!! Nice reaction
Home Free are a bunch of goofballs and I love them. They never mind being silly but the music never suffers. I was cracking up especially at Tim and Chance. Chance reminded me of Popeye at one point….hahaha. Love them! Good one Nick!😍🥰
It’s so great that these guys can do such an amazing and incredible job with the performance and still add their goofiness to make us laugh!!😂😂. This is why we love them so much! Loving your reactions, Nick!!❤
I love your Home Free reactions. Don't miss some of the older stuff that isn't always requested. You can pick pretty much anything from their catalog or fan-posted concert clips and we Home Fries will be there for it.
I love all their renditions of Tom Cochrane's original (the Sing Off, an earlier video & this one). I also love when Adam's & Austin's hair is loose! The singing & harmonies are terrific & Adam has outdone himself again on beatboxing. Their collective sense of humor and lack of ego makes for great, fun videos! Thanks for playing this & your comments.
Oh those guys are so good and funny. I'm laughing my ass off, especially at their faces. What fun they would have had during those recordings. I've seen it a few times and each time I see something new. But my attention still remained on the singing and that inhumanly good beatboxing. You could say I was laughing while swinging. Because it sounded amazing again. It has become much better than the performance of the Sing Off. But what I like so much is that even if you don't see the video, what you hear is still great. With many groups the song is nice and good when you watch the video, but without a video it is a lot less and I had enough after listening to it once. I don't have that at all with Home Free. They are top, but not over the top❤
First they start out with fans to blow their hair but at the end their cameraman Jimmy Bates is pointing a leaf blower at them. This is actually their 3rd video for Life is a Highway. They just released an album (on CD and vinyl) called As Seen On TV of all the songs they performed when they won The Sing-Off in 2013, which brought them to the world's attention. In early 2018 they did a Home Free cover of Rascal Flatts' Life is a Highway, recording themselves on their tour bus, setting up for a concert, meeting fans and the press, then on stage. Three wonderful renditions.
Tom Cochrane wrote a good song, so good that it still attracts gifted artists to perform it. I hate the word "cover" as a description of what happens when a good song gets sung by someone other than the writer and/or original artist. Home Free is so gifted and brings something great to every song they arrange, whether it's one they wrote or not. The joy they are feeling and projecting in this rendition of "Life is a Highway" is entirely their own. Thanks Tom for a great melody and a great lyric. Thanks Home Free for uplifting the joy and energy it brings. Thanks Nick for showing it to a whole new generation.
These boys are an actual treasure lol.
These guys are the ABSOLUTE BEST!!
Great reaction, Nick. Always enjoy your comments and observations!
There's our handsome lads!😂
I dont know what Adam's doing to sound so insanely great lately but I hope he keeps it up!
Definitely a shout-out to "Cars" with the growling, & wind tunnel effect! ❤❤
Actually, it was a leaf blower.

This is so very awesome! They never disappoint. They don't do covers they do upgrades. I am sure Rascal Flats would be proud. Love your reaction!

They are having such fun that it is catching! I’m laughing and remembering a childhood of road trips like this!

I do enjoy seeing you on your HF journey, it is so nice to see the smile on peoples faces watching them. Keep it coming ❤
Listening and watching this can’t help but put a smile on your face!
Never thought about the background being like a rumble strip. Glad you mentioned that.
Heart warming group!!💝💞
#HOMEFREE . I enjoyed this thank you.
One other video you mentioned you should see them on tour….you really should! I’ve seen them a few times, holiday and not. They are sooo fun!
Totally hilarious and awesome cover! They always make songs even better😂

Anything for a laugh, these guys. "Sure, let's stand in front of a leaf blower and make weird faces."
❤❤❤
Great rxn
There is no doubt they sound great they just chose to be funny.
I hope Adam and Austin aren't tender headed because combing the tangles out of their hair would be a bitch lol!!!
🤣🍟
TOO WORDY & YES AUSTIN ( High TENOR) is from Tifton Georgia ... so yeah, Accent if your NOT A SOUTHERNER. GBjj
Reactors really need to stop listening to Home Free covering everything and start listening to the original. And in this case it's Tom Cochrane.
