The bus was on a bend and the bike was in his blind spot the whole time. Learn to read how other vehicles see you.
It was a solid white line though. I think the bus was not allowed to cross it. Still dumb of the rider, but makes it a little bit more understandable

@@joerigillissen9324 Think the bus may have been avoiding a white van merging on the left. Don't know why the biker took to the verge when a quick blip of the throttle would have put him ahead of the bus. Still stupid to stay on the inside of a long vehicle through a turn.
Learn to keep your shitty opinions to your self, the bus driver has a head, right? That can turn, right? So whats the damn problem? Cant turn his head to look, AS THE LAW STATES???????
Have these riders neglected doing exactly that.
Some of these crybabys send videos of such mundane daily driving crap we all put up with. Try slowing down and driving like you want to live another day.
I can't believe the big 4 Japanese companies can produce superior machines that the engine can last 300K and still put these mickey mouse horns on these bikes. ABS, Traction control, and everything else control for safety reasons, yet put these pathetic horns that they had in the 70's. There are so many more a-holes ready to run you down nowadays. I shouldn't have to buy aftermarket horns to help save myself.

4:30 ... in all fairness to the driver of that car. The rider messed up here. His bike was in a position to make a right hand turn (Hell, they even teach that in the MSF course lol).

Some of these bikers think they can still win from a big truck or car if they keep in their lane. If a truck comes up to my lane and he's wrong, I give it a bit more throttle or let off the throttle to stay out of trouble. You can't win from something that's 5x bigger and heavier.
Law of gross tonnage. It doesn't matter who was wrong if you're dead
my tiny car is 4x my motorbike at 240kg.... make it 20x your weight!

Unusual to see buses go into this lane (Onewa Road on-ramp in Auckland, New Zealand), but some idiot in the silver van is in the dedicated bus lane on the left making the bus move over.
To be honest, bikers shouldn't honk their horns at motorists who blindly turn in a parkinglot, they cannot see you guys coming, so it's not their fault for almost hitting you. I get upset at the bikers who think they are entitled to everything, just because they have smaller vehicles than regular cars do. Word to the bikers: Next time a car turns and STOPS before hitting you while in a parking lot, Maybe think before going around a car blindly. Not that hard folks.
I hate when they or (we) speed lol an a car turns out or turns in an the bikers get mad at them when they are speeding stop overreacting man just move ok with your day unless they make you crash then kick some ass lol

1:19 Feet down instead of on the pegs. Target fixation. Lack of skill/practice. There's no reason to have gone wide on that turn other than lack of skill. This is why parking lot practice is so important. Remember, Radius == Speed. You can draw a 15' radius in a parking lot and practice turning on that line at 10 to 15 MPH and learn a lot about your bike. The techniques are the same for larger radius curve at higher speeds. Would you rather learn how to brake in a turn at 10 MPH or at 50MPH?
Yep, same rules apply on bicycles, once your feet are off the pedals, in most cases so are any bets of recovering.

Most of the time it appears that it's the bikers are going way too fast for the conditions or not recognizing quick enough when vehicle drivers are not paying attention. But hell I've made those mistakes too a few times.
Soooo many riders that simply should have their license revoked, they are just filming their own bad decisions and watching karma do the rest most of the time
What better way to learn than to see someone else's mistake and consequences?

I'm always astounded when I see a bike over 200cc and a rider wearing short sleeve t-shirts. Makes me cringe at the cheese grating they would suffer at anything over 40-50 MPH. Even worse seeing 1000cc bikes and people wearing short sleeves. Crazy.
I'm a midde-aged "noob" that just purchased his first bike, an 1133cc Scout Bobber. I shared your caution, at first, and used to wear gear. But I live in south Texas and it's just brutal in the summer here. It's like having to choose between road rash or heat stroke . . .
@@obi-juan2926 i’m in the UK & 25 years old, went out on my bike in 30°C heat in my full gear. Rather deal with heat stroke than having no skin left, get a good hydration bagpack and that will really help. Some people have different perspectives of risk v reward though and I hope you stay safe!

@@obi-juan2926 then look for furygan vest. Aero one. It's textile and opened, or with hole inside of, so, it's nice wind pass, and make the heat pass away
@@dougupah8778 Yeah, absolutely. The right gear makes a big difference. Well-ventilated everything: Jacket, gloves, boots. Light-colored, well-ventilated helmet. Road rash won't be comfortable either.
Don't ride in blind spots, too fast through a busy parking lot, and always ride your own ride. Showing off is not worth the risk. Especially on a road with no safe runoff

To be honest I was expecting him to do that but just wanted to rev instead of brake, for sure could have handled it better. Nobody is perfect!
When I ride my bike, I always make sure to be in the blind spot of a bus.

Sometimes you have to take more of a humble approach when riding a bike. The cars and trucks will win. Shaking your fist and flipping them off won't get you anywhere. As someone else said, learn to read blind spots especially when entering intersections and be ready to react. Slowing it down in traffic will keep you alive as well.

At 7:58, why didn't that driver stop and lecture the guy on the motorcycle! It deserves a broken mirror, or at least waving a hand in the face, while not watching where they are going! The horror!

In a Bike verses Car situation the Biker always comes out of it worse, Same goes for roadside scenery...lack of attention, target fixation. A couple of days ago I was negotiating a roundabout when two very large and long articulated trucks pulled onto the roundabout ahead of me. There was no chance of me hitting them but I fixated on them and missed my exit!... just had to go around and correct mistake....Target fixation , You go where you look, lack of attention...
