That guy who brought Conner his stuff is just like the kind guy who chased after my dad and me at a train station during our last 4 days in Japan back in 2012 because dad had dropped his wallet in the station (which included our passports) and the guy had literally followed us for several minutes in order to give dad his wallet back.
We were really appreciative of him.

Love it when Mousy pushes Connor into trying something he's reluctant about and he ends up super enjoying it, like making him go back to look at the cookie store and having him get one of the best cookies he's ever had. Like, he would've walked past it completely unaware of the cookie greatness he could have experienced if it wasn't for Mousy. They're just so fun and good for each other, I love it. Happy holidays everyone!!

It’s stuff like this that really makes me baffled about the hatred towards contact creators like Connor and mouse. What friend do any of us have that would go to links like these to FaceTime us as they wander around a country that we wouldn’t be able to go to? This is literally some of the most giving people I’ve ever seen on the Internet.

1:36 This seems to be the scaled up version of what the Germans call "Wärmespiel" or "Hitzepyramide", literally "Heat play" or "Heat pyramid". Its a not-so-safe but traditional children's table-top toy where candles are lit underneath the rotor-thingie on top. The heat of the candles drives air past the blades (hence the "heat" in the name) which spins it.
The rotor has an axle that runs along the height of the toy and at each level there are platforms with chrismas themed figurines that are spun by the movement of the axle.

It’s so weird seeing Cookie Time in Japan since I live just down the road from the original factory in New Zealand. Cookie Time is a New Zealand staple. Air New Zealand gives their cookies out on flights because they’re the kiwi cookie. They’re the best prepackaged cookies.
With all that has happened in Japan this is nice.

Hot mulled/spiced red wine is amazing stuff. I always buy several bottles at a time in the winter season. More liquor stores have started carrying it and local wineries are making more of it.
It does not work with white wine, however. The flavors of the typical spices used for mulling are not complementary at all with white wine flavor notes.

KFC fries here in Australia must be very different than those from Japan.
I love KFC fries, so for Conner's reaction to them to be that negative, the ones in Japan mustn't be that good.
Either that or he's just had really bad luck every time he's gone there, because I had KFC twice when I was in Japan and both times I remember the fries were just as good as they are at Australian KFCs.

Was thinking the same thing lol. I’ve rarely had bad KFC fries and am also from Australia. I haven’t been anywhere overseas though so I’m guessing the fries from the KFC’s in other countries (or at least Japan based on Connors reaction) aren’t very good lol.
I watched this in Queue right after Conner's Best of 2023 video, but I wasn't looking a the screen when is video ended, so I thought this whole video was apart of it.

Apparently they go pretty wild on Christmas lights around Enoshima, which is not that far off of Tokyo.
Mouse should get connor to go to danish christmas markets in copenhagen, there are a few, but theyre all massive and cozy, and amazing. I think connor would have an amazing time there as well, and it might be super coll for Mouse to see.

As a german: The big thing in the middle of the market was a traditional Weihnachtspyramide (Christmaspyramid). You can decorate it with things you like. Most of the time in Germany they are decorated with Christianic symbols or things which are typical for the region, where the christmas market is.
