Preacher Mountain - Washington State

Preacher Mountain is a seldom-visited summit that towers over the Snoqualmie River in the central Cascades. While there is a steep and sometimes muddy trail to Rainy Lake, the route from there is either snow-covered or extremely faint and brushy, requiring navigation skills and proper equipment. It is quite a workout, as you gain approximately a vertical mile in elevation. The 360-degree panoramic view from the summit is fantastic, with jagged mountain peaks, beautiful alpine lakes, and even Seattle and Bellevue in sight.

I've only been lucky enough to make it up to Rainy Lake. The trail up to Preacher wasn't well marked for me to try, but hoping to one day make it up there. Beautiful views.
