Love my 2015 Mercedes ML W166, I'd buy another in a heartbeat
My mom currently drives a Bluetec Ml350 and it a great car and the technology is great and very easy to use but i will agree the seats with the standard MB TEX can be very hard on long trips but other than that its a great vehicle.
The reason why this vehicle had bad reviews is because the engine was sealed poorly and it does end up having problems but I still have that vehicle it is my favorite Mercedes ever very luxury it even comes with a Mercedes emergency pack and the driving was great for me I can’t believe that our vehicle has survived for over 7 years and you know what I like about the rear? It looks like the cars trunk is smiling I don’t know why I see that but overall the crash test has a great review for the price it was $60,000. This vehicle is great vehicle I have ever had in my life I just wish they could make more but the engine is bad now but still... it’s good.
That 350 BlueTEC/350d was definitely the pick of the range!
Press the asterisk (*) key on the dash and you can dial in the exact station you want.
I have this car and love it. Just maintain it well and she’ll be good to you.
@@immarcus1909 yea, it’s a great car. It really hasn’t dated much in 9 years. My Bluetooth does not sync with my newest phone though.
I agree, and I find it really no comparison. Totally different breeds. As for this, I would go with Grand Cherokee Overland for much lower cost. New ML looks kinda weird in the front end.
That is correct. Anyone whose driven the ML350 knows the thing drives a bit like a truck. It's a great vehicle, but it has just that bit of sluggishness off the line if you're not driving it with a lead foot. The diesel doesn't have this problem at all because of the massive low-end torque. The diesel isn't a fast vehicle, but it feels far less sluggish than the gasoline counterpart even though it may be a bit slower. It feels more like a V8 off the line.
Agreed. The 350 petrol/gasoline does not give a very nice drive. I’d even pick an ML250 BlueTEC/GLE250d over the 350 gasoline! If someone really wanted a gasoline ML/GLE, the 400 (3.0 turbo V6 gas) would be the minimum in terms of driveablilty excluding the diesels
This car already got on sale 10 years ago. Damn I feel old .
the people say this car is 'bad' maybe because they have never drive a mercedes. or actually they can not afford to buy a mercedes, so they say something bad to support their 'opinion'.
+Yingyi Wang nevermind the Ml350, the Bugatti Veyron has a lot of haters saying the car is bad lol
The MLs aren't the best. They're made in the US and whiles most of the parts are German the actual assembly is lacking. The 2006 to 2009 ML350s were absolute junk in terms of reliability. My C300 is fantastic but that doesn't carry to other MBs.
My aunt got one back then
Still runs to this day
Aleksandur Cvetanov because a lot of people say they break a lot. Which is mostly their problem because they don’t take care of them how it should be. Or buy it for status and then when it’s time to repair something they have to spend a lot
@@laughingcures8563 Appreciate your reply already. Looking to buy one for myself at this time, but scared about service, and attitude to the car from previous owner. Still is there something vulnerable at this car even a small thing, so when i go to actually buy it, to look for some cetain problems and stuff ? Thank for attention in advance ! Cheers Mate !
Aleksandur Cvetanov if you want to buy one make sure the owner has all the paperwork for services. Make sure everything is clean and works properly.
Lol, when I heard it I had to double check the year on the video description, talk about 80s throwback.
This guys voice belongs on an infomercial. "But if you call within the next 10 minutes, you will get two; not one but two ML's"
Diesels in the U.S.A, wow the world is definitely changing!
Clearly you've never sat inside of one, or any Mercedes for that matter.
HP is overrated.... how much HP you actually need on the road? It is the torque that count...
That thing is the shit! diesel power! wish there were more I'd love to have a diesel expedition el
It's like I always say, the best Benzes are oil burners.
@85ZingoGTR You have to get the urea tank refilled at the dealer, and I believe the car will not start if it is not refilled.
Well I’m glad I bought a Mercedes diesel before the introduction of the AdBlue( DEF fluid) , that just kills the engines
I still like the old generation better. It actually looked like a SUV this looks like a crossover/Small SUV.
How much I want to buy it
Excellent Car as well as the video and presenter.
Beautiful.
man dam i would have bot this if it had the old style gear stick...
Good
is the german tax real? Anyone?
so this is how we got the Current Grand Cherokee.
@Timmyc4t The EPA, apparently.
They call it an SUV without showing the performance off road?
we don't have ad blue in europe for cars
is that the seat controls I see on the door? A mechanics wet dream and a owners nightmare if anything goes wrong
Ok in plain English. How many wires more will it take to put the seat controls on the door and to find the problem if there is a electrical short. Not because you can doesn't mean you should
***** Still I would rather the controls on the seats. I once went to my mechanic to have some work done there was a Mercedes S class with it's dash down 18 hours in and the tech was still trying to locate the problem , now this is no rookie this guy has been a mechanic since 1980 and has worked for Volvo and the like. The Germans love to over engineer their cars, like I said not because you can means that you should
The controls are done over a common bus, meaning a single bus controls everything, door lock, window, seat, mirror, etc.
Probably because he is talking about cars instead of making jokes and display a whole show irrelevant to car review. I bet you love Jeremy Clarkson.
yes he has a brand new 2012 Q7. and my mom has a 2012 bmw x5 and i like them more than this ML.
But those lights are awful
Glad we have the better ones
my dad picked the 2012 q7 instead of the ml and i am glad. it looks like crap.
It actually looks MORE like a minivan than before. Even the 2013 AMG version looks weak. Its definitely a better overall vehicle than before, but is nowhere near as attractive. The previous generation M-Class remains the benchmark.
In 2019 the 2012 is an endless money pit the suspension totally went out$5,000 to maintenance at 90000 miles also the ignition key had to be replaced$900 the dealer had to do it$3,000 for new tires new brakes another$1,200 I just have to add a headlight burnt out he went to change it and it snapped off 😂 part of the assembly 😑 that'll be $500 lol
Seriously in U.S.A you need ad blue for diesels? LOL!!!
Is this Amg ?
What dinosaurs still use imperial measurements?? It is 2024; we metricised in 1961.
So basically your paying for the name... Get the Acura MDX.
americans just dont know how to drive a diesel economocally! i can get 6.0ltrs/100kms out of one or better.
its 12$
what!?!?
inside looks like a grand cherokee
want
I am quite disappointed in the design, especially the rear it looks like a ssangyong design a step backward from the previous design
I am First!!!!!!!!!1
THIS IS ONE OF THE UGLIEST SUV'S EVER 50G FOR WHAT
I have it
I hope the theme song of MotorWeek never changes. I get that warm fuzzy feeling whenever I hear it.
Me too, I used to watch it on PBS.
