    Are you or are you not "over" the AFC title game loss? Were you or were you not satisfied with Todd's press conference?

      Am I over the AFC Championship game… yes & no. The Ravens had a golden opportunity to defeat the Chiefs and go to the Super Bowl.
      However, it’s a new season and new opportunities to show what the team can do. Dwelling on the past isn’t going to erase the championship loss, BUT that doesn’t mean forget about it. Learn from it and grow!

      Yep, You are either winning or...learning. However, maybe the FO needs to follow that mantra bc when the Ravens hired Todd, who I knew from when I was following the Browns, I was mystified - both from a locker room/leadership and an x's and o's POV. Thanks for all the work/great attitude, Bobby!

    C’mon Monken! You’ve got to say what you said to keep your job. We all know that the NFL, the Networks, Vegas, and Atlantic City is all about the money. We knew that as the Taylor Swift, Travis Kelsey saga continued the Ravens weren’t going to the Super Bowl. Who was going to make them the most money? Taylor Swift, or Lamar Jackson? What AFC team was the most attractive watch against San Francisco? The Ravens with Lamar Jackson, or Kansas City with Taylor Swift? We all smelled something rotten in Baltimore when the Ravens all but abandoned the running game when it was good mix of running and passing that had gotten them so far. There is no such thing as a pure sport anymore (if there ever was one). The only difference between the sixties, seventies and now is that they don’t even try to hide the outcome of these game. The NFL, like Baseball, Basketball, Hockey, and every other sport is “For Entertainment Purposes, Only!

    What will D. Henry do that Gus Bus could not have done the last game? If D. Henry was running back, Ravens only run the ball SIX TIMES! What would have been the difference? Ravens did not run against an inferior running defense. Facts! Six times…

      It comes down to John Harbaugh. We've had multiple OC's, yet we still somehow lose the same way, by not playing to our strengths and playing into the strengths of the opposing team. It's inexcusable at this point as lessons never seemed to be learned when it comes to John.

    I'm sure the problem wasn't Monken !

    So you tell me who Harbotched both games ?

    Well how u run the ball better when u only ran it 6 times Todd?! His game plan was horrible and then not adjusting at the half or at some point is inexcusable and that’s very much on Harbs as well. I literally still get sick to my stomach every time I think abt that game and the fact we let a SB slip through our hands.
    Edit: when u hold KC to 17pts and still lose Todd’s job should’ve been hanging by a thread. Granted Lamar’s pic and Flowers drop were key factors it never should’ve been that close in the first place.

    If the Ravens would have played THEIR game but just came up a little short against Maholmes, I can live with that. The fact that the Ravens keep allowing opposing teams to get them out of what has been WORKING for the Ravens, NO I can't get over that. I'm tired of hearing oh it's a new year or let's get them next season. How many times are we going to keep hearing that. I will say it's not all on Todd. Harbaugh has some blame too. He doesn't step up coach wise in big games. He keeps getting out coached in big games. It can't be sugarcoated that the Ravens blew a big opportunity last season. Now the Texans are better, the Chargers has Jim as the Coach, the schedule they gave us is brutal, etc. All of that said, if the standard is to keep on choking in the big games when it comes to coaching then ok I guess we can be over the AFC Championship. And to be clear, I'm not losing any sleep over the AFC Championship but I'm not going to push it aside either.

    I'm over it but more importantly, I'm VERY OVER Harbaugh. He had the best team last year and he couldn't get it done. I don't believe he will ever get it done. He's basically a couple hail Marys away from being an average head coach with no super bowl. My personal strategy: I'll be betting on the good teams and against the Ravens. If the Ravens win, super. If not, I'll make lots of $$$.

    You guys wanted a new offensive coordinator that allowed Lamar to “pass first”. We get it and what happens in a playoff game we should’ve won?
    How many chances did Lamar have to “rip it”?
    You beat Mahomes by running the football.. and we just booed Greg Roman out of town in the worst way.
    An underrated topic of conversation is just how nasty our fans were to Greg Roman before and after he left town.
    One thing you guys don’t want to admit is Lamar has regressed. 2019 was great. What happened since then? I can’t tell you how many guys have been wide open downfield. Monken was supposed to be the savior now you guys are bitching all over again.

      We pay our quarterback a quarter billion $ and u guys bitch about the biggest game of the year being put in his hands? Isn’t that the point?
      We could’ve won that game by handing it off zero times
      MVP was bullshit but Lamar is good for marketing

    • @davidpetrosky
      @davidpetrosky 4 місяці тому

      @@BrianJones-cu2sxAll of your hating, sounds moot, when you make the silly assertion that he regressed. He had better metrics in efficiency, this past season throwing the ball. Had his best completion percentage of his career. Most passing yards. Had a top 5 adjusted qbr, and overall rating. Ridiculous, to say he regressed, when he had his best balance in his game, of his entire career. Had more overall yards, than his first MVP season. Silly take, in every way. He also went further in the playoffs.

    • @BrianJones-cu2sx
      @BrianJones-cu2sx 4 місяці тому

      @@davidpetrosky I’m stating facts. If you think my stated opinion on Lamar and our 2023 team are rooted in hate.. you would be incorrect. We were a far more dominant team in 2019 than in 2023.
      I never said Lamar wasn’t good either. I just said he’s not getting any better. 5 years ago.. in 2019 Lamar led the league with 36 passing touchdowns and 6 interceptions.. with a run first offense.
      In 2024 with Monken calling the plays and even more weapons.. notably OBJ, Nellie and Likely.. Lamar threw for almost 600 more yards, but netted 12 less passing touchdowns and one more interception with 7 compared to 2019. This is with a “more balanced offense” designed to allow Lamar to show off his efficiency as a passer.
      He played worse than his award suggest in my humble opinion.
      I’ve defended Lamar for a long time but these past 2 years really made me feel a certain type of way because we have a clear ceiling. And the eye test these past 4 years makes me weary. Lamar misses a lot. I don’t want to be totally negative here. He’s a great player. I just feel our fan base doesn’t know what it wants.

    • @davidpetrosky
      @davidpetrosky 4 місяці тому

      @@BrianJones-cu2sx Far more dominant? Based on what? As i stated, Lamar had a better passing season last season. We had a better defense. 7 of the Ravens wins in 2019 were by 7 or less. In 2023, that number was 3. The had the most double digit wins over teams with a winning record, than any team in the last 40 years. In 2023, the led, for the most minutes, by any team in the league. Not the case in 2019. They were also one and done in the playoffs that year. I understand, if you say you prefer that team personally. That's cool. But to say they were more dominant subjectively, just doesn't pass the numbers test. Lamar was running a team in 2019, predicated on a 65% running attack offense, where he had no autonomy at the line, with a scheme, that had little, to no, creativity, behind it. He led the 2023 team, to a more balanced, diverse attack, despite losing his RB1 in the first game. A receiving corps, led by a guy on the downside of his career, and a rookie. Losing his favorite target for the last third of the season, and still went further.

      Pass-first is great. Pass -only is not. The only regression I see is your understanding of the situation.
