Belltech drop kit update-I do not like it!

It’s been a bad couple of months with the drop kit. It bottoms out so much, and you can’t carry that much weight on the back of the truck. I’m going back to stock. I’m selling the old setup complete with relocation bracket and rear shocks.

Bro if your rear axle is hitting the frame you need a c notch kit, its not uncommon to do certain amount of drops on different vehicles and for the axle to hit the frame without a c notch kit

What drop do you have...2/4? Or 4/6. I havnt heard any bad things on the 2/4 drop.

I have a 3/5 belltech performance drop on my 2019 F150. Zero problems bottoming out. I would not know if the shocks that came with this kit would have bottomed out, but I proactively went ahead and got the pro comp es9000 shocks for the rear because a couple of guys I know had problems like you with the base kit (not the performance handling kit with adjustable coilovers) and solved their problem with the ES9000 rear shocks. If and when the rear shocks wear out then I will try the shocks that came with the kit and see how that goes. For now I have a perfect ride.

You have to cut off the bump stop cups completely. I did a 4/6 drop and you can't have them at all . You can get some adjustable
shocks and helper bags to make it usable for everyday .

XxXCasinoXxX i thought about cutting them off but the new springs are not as heavy duty as the originals so any load makes them compress easily. I already changed back to stock.

2015 Ford F-150 having the same problem as him with my belltech 3/5.5 inch drop kit. I have the stage 3 upgraded street performance shocks front and rear and I’m running the aftermarket front springs not the stock with zero strut spacers, and they claim you don’t have to cut or mod the frame for the kit. That’s bullshit! Anything more than 3.5-4 in the front and 4-4.5 inch in the rear you have to either notch the frame or run support bags to lift it up while driving around. They should add that info so consumers know what they need before they beat their frame up trying to have a little fun.

I had a shop install a full beltech drop kit with spindles and the rear hits hard on minor potholes and it’s not tight like I thought it would be any suggestions also I’m getting rubbing ft end sounds like plastic inner housing Oo yea it’s a 2013 chevy avalanche 4’/4’ drop ft and rear

A c notch here in Hawaii would make it impossible to get a recon permit making it impossible to register with DMV.

All you have to do is C Notch it. You can’t really complain about about the product itself, when lowering a truck you can’t expect it to ride/perform like factory unless you know what you have to do in order to accomplish that
