I think teaching what real biblical community looks like is important because there's a lot of us in the church today who do not believe in or see the value of it. Being in real biblical community is essential for growing in our faith and serving in ministry. When we understand what real biblical community looks like and partake in it, we can be a blessing to those around us, while filling our spirit as well. All scripture is GOD BREATHED (2 Timothy 16-17). There is only one GOD (1Corrinthians 8:6) The Only way to the FATHER (John 14:6) If anyone preaches a different gospel (Galatians 1:8) Where two or three are gathered (Matthew 18:20) Jesus instructs HIS disciples on how to resolve conflict in the Christian community. The context of the verse is how to resolve conflict not prayer. There are six things the LORD hates, seven things that are detestable to HIM. Proverbs 6:16-19. Verse 19 NIV reads "A false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community or NKJV and one who sows discord among brethren. GOD is not like man and there is no darkness in HIM (Numbers 23:19 & 1 John 1:5) Why do you call me LORD, LORD (Luke 6:46). And if you love me (John 14:15-17 NKJV). The verse is interpreted to mean when people receive GOD'S love, they are empowered to love GOD in return and obey HIS commands. Verily, Verily I say unto you (John 14:12). The Body of CHRIST 1 Corinthians 12:27 is about unity and diversity the church is a single organism that functions best when all parts work together to serve each other and people each with unique gifts, passions, and personalities...John 8:11 Go and sin no more. If we sin, we need to be contrite - to be sorry for our sins because they offend GOD. GOD will forgive us if we are contrite.
