The director of photography is Darius Khondji (Oscar nomination for “Bardo: False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths,” “Okja”). I wouldn’t be surprised if the writer got the idea for this film from the character Conner from Lord Bung’s SCP animated series. Mickey’s mannerisms, and the blatant disregard by his superiors for his well-being feels too similar in this trailer.
