Anyone saying the game is too easy but looking for tips don't make sense. It's a game that's fun and easy to enter but has solid depth and crazy routes to finish combos
Mhm, a lot of people are equating “easy inputs” with “easy” but there’s a decently hard learning curve to the high level execution The easy inputs just lets newer players perform better initially and then they can then learn the deep stuff cause they’re already having fun.
Great info in this video! I was looking for how to set the CPU dummy to DP after block and this popped up. Still don't know how to do that though haha. Cheers
Haha Lots of questions about Training mode maybe a video for that is warranted There’s an option for reversal recording in the practice room menu Select that and then you have to press square(on console at least). That’ll put you as player 2 and you press L3 to record the action. The first action you perform in this recording will come out immediately when it’s played back so don’t worry about having to do it frame 1 or something. So activate recording, do the DP then finish the recording. It’ll take you back to the “Reversal recording” screen and you wanna turn the option for “Block” to on Now you go set the opponent settings to block your attacks and when you attack them they’ll play back the DP recording on the first available frame. Hope that makes sense.
@@JayPhoenix Jay OI appreciate you taking the time reply. Much appreciated. I got it to work after a while. Not sure why they didn't keep it like most arcsys games where you just has an option to reversal on block . But thank you. Stay blessed.
Is There The possibility to turn easy inputs off? I must admit i had Several misinputs in the beta using dp with motion but getting out "forward + MP" instead of dp
Unfortunately no =\ Seems like the intention from a game design perspective is to include the mis-inputs as another layer of difficulty to using techinical inputs. Personally, I’ve been struggling with getting Forward+MS attacks after dashing even though I just want the neutral direction skill But it’s just an adjustment we gotta make unique to DNF I suppose
End ur dp input in 3 (down forward), in games where 236 and 623 overlap this is a good way to focus on the dp input. As for dash and then getting a neutral button, jus gotta get used to that lol its like that in blazblue as well which has a lot of forward+button cmd normals. We’ll all get used to it in a few weeks dw 😄
@@duggyfresh8899 I think I was just unclear my bad Not that it’s designed to occur but that I think they recognized that “flaw” and said, well it makes it even more skillful to perform technical inputs because you have to be very precise. But yeah, if I have to mash DP’s in situations where I don’t know the gaps it’s been much better to use simple input.
It does, just not frame 1 like the game implies. It’s basically a glorified roll lol Slightly more distance and maybe a few frames faster But it does have some utility in neutral as a reversal when Ghost is live that I’ll go into in the guide for Ghostblade
Combos have different “hit stun” depending on the move it starts with. Weaker starters like A attacks lead to less damaging combos that can juggle you for less time between moves. But ultimately every move automatically lets you flip out after a certain time, so if you flip out then the opponent didn’t finish their combo with a move that leaves you on the ground. And yeah it’s automatic When this happens you are invincible until you hit the ground as long as you don’t press any attack buttons.
@@JayPhoenix thanks for reply I think I get it just some characters need fixing they can literally hit u until u die and the console version is so unresponsive nearly 3 weeks out and not a word from Devs lol

Thanks! I’ve seen a few guides just skip over it but high cost MP skills are risky as hell when you go deep into exhaustion.
really solid stuff, very well put together and edited man. thanks for this
Great solid content that went more in depth than other guides on similar topics. You got a new Sub!
