Just recieved Sourmash "eclipse", and Shitake "lifeforce" in the mail yesterday, both on Zoom records. I'm a very happy guy this morn as I've been hunting for that vinyl for many years !
Great post - Billy Nasty @ Zoom records Camden RIP one of the best from his Sourmash guise: trippy trancey bouncy techno niceness And for what it's worth the Final Frontier nights at Club UK were truly outstanding but in truth the sound system was only 6/10 and the DJ monitoring sucked big time (according to Gayle San the resident DJ). But Wandworth Local Authority sucked soooooo much more ..........
I used to visit Zoom records on a weekly basis. You would ask for a record to listen to an they would mix it in on the in-shop system. I managed to get one gig at club UK which was a great venue but never actually got to play my discs there :/ but my favourite was the basement of Heaven that you could hire out. I had some friends who put some great nights on there.
