Such amazing acting from 1947 to Star Trek and so much more...we miss you DeForest.
bonanza startet in 1959. the year 1947 must be wrong.
His voice feels like home
Agreed, and yet, you can tell he's a completely different persona in this clip. It's incredible!
right!
his voice melts me
I'm 38 and I fell for him 💕 He had that something and I can't explain what it is, but he got me.
Dammit, Jim, I'm a doctor, not an old west newspaper man!
Long live DeForest!he, along with James Doohan shall always be remembered
Did anyone else assume he was playing a doctor at first?
He was no lame sitcom actor....He was the real McCoy!
He's so darling. I just love him
Me too. I have an autographed picture from Mr. Kelley
That time when Bones was subtly even camper than Jim! 😂
McCoy's on the holodeck again. 😁
They didn’t have holodecks
@@philbertchow5425 Bones lived well into the 24th century, I bet he used the holodecks at least once.
@@maramackenzie-mann “Bone” 🤣
@@philbertchow5425 Fuck, fixed it 😂I mean he was 137, he might've only had the one bone left.
@@maramackenzie-mann 🤣 boner
It was either BONANZA or a GUNSMOKE episode where he played a country doctor wrongfully accused and condemned to death where there was a line he said, "I'm no longer a doctor, just a condemned killer."
Joy to you friends, are you of the body?
All Bones needed is the ribbon bow tie, futuristic sideburns and the wild, bulging, blue eye stare.
energicko lol happy someone got it :)
Peace and tranquility, my brother!
I wanna go swimming in those blue pools he calls eyes!!!!I I WUV DE KELLEY!!!!!!!P *LE SIGH*
HE'S SO DAMN CUTE. NOT JUST SEXY BUT CUTE TOO. LOOK AT HOW SHORT HE IS AAAAAH.
Damn it Jim! I don't want any damn coffee!
Whiskey, Tennessee Whiskey with the beans.
@@marcziegenhain8420 An old family recipe.
He would land a much bigger role later that year.
Bones on Bonanza.
1:46 Dr. McCoy Talk
"I'm a doctor, not some Daily Planet reporter."
I miss De.
I'm a journalist, not a telegraph machine!!
He never drank his coffee. X)
And less than nine months before Star Trek debuted!
Why do I see Dr when I watch a movie with Gary Sinise? Saw "The Green Mile" and Gary Sinise and pictured him as Bones, not Karl Urban.
Well now I'm gonna be completely unable to think of anyone but Gary Sinise as AOS Bones.🤔 "Lt. Bones, you got new legs!"
That cloak and black bag initially made me think that DFK was playing the role of...a doctor.
I'm a doctor, not a moon shuttle conductor!
"BLAST YOU, Ludlow! I came here to do a SIMPLE INTERVIEW! Must you be so LONG-WINDED?"
Tennessee whiskey is what that journo requires.....and perhaps a Marshmelon too.
@Paul Kryder its what deforest aka Bones, said in star trek 5, i think? A marshmelon is another reference to a marsh mellow. a fluffy sweet.
So cute.
Mr. Deforest Telly sure does look familiar
Is this in the Original Bonanza?
An awful lot of tension seemed to spring into the air suddenly in the last minute of that clip. Do things get awkward later in that episode, or what?
Bones!
BONES ;-)
DeForest... uhm... wuts-his-face played a character named "Mr. Kelley"??? How'd they come up with that screwy name?? lol
What is Bones doing in that strange coat?? I know it's a shitty thing to say, but fuck me if it's all I can see him as!
Pille
Get lost! Schwurbler!
