I watched two other videos before this but found this one to be easiest to understand. I think showing players hands and moves is lie watching someone play, the best way to teach!!

2 untold rules we friend established....
1) When a player/team is playing for second sequence(one already made) those five markers and spots become immune to jacks i.e. no further interference by single eyed jack. Hence if using any of the those five markers in a cross/ diagnol sequence the opponent can use jacks only to remove any new marker and not the pre established one.
2) Since the above rule of immunity..(as I may say) any team/player making a sequence coming strategically 2 ways ,straight or diagnol, meeting a point where a single marker chains 6 or more spots, the team score a sequence but has to declare which set of 5 markers are there claimed sequence. That sequence stands and wont be interefered in future..the remaing markers and spots stay in play and can be interefered if required by jacks..

Thanks for the helpful video. For future reference, since cards can be counted, "fewer cards" is correct while "less cards" is not.
To add, the word “amount” is used for things that cannot be counted, while the word “number” is used for things that can be counted.

HELP! Ok in one row. I have 4 tokens, a blank space, then 2 more tokens. I place a token in the blank space now I have 7 in a row. Do I have to determine what part of the 5 is locked Or is it fluid?
How do you place the markers in the corners? Can u use any card to place a marker there or do u just place it without playing a card orrr
hey ! i play Sequence , and the 4 corners on the board are like a free spots, so they already count as one chip ! You do not put a chip on the free corners, you can use it towards making your run of 5 chips . In otherwords, you can use the one free corner chip with 4 more chips to make a Sequence ! thats always my strategy, to complete as many sequences as i can using the corners !! Enjoy :)
What is that 4 corners used as?
Help resolve a dispute please. Do you draw a card after using a one eyed Jack? The rules say “your turn ends” and my aunt says you can’t draw afterwards because of that rule.

When there are two teams, ONE sequence is completed by one of the team and trying to complete 2nd sequence
My question is whether opponent team can remove their coin and replace by their own from the sequence which is completed!??
No, a coin from a completed sequence cannot be removed

If 3 teams or more are playing can a marker be used across 2 sequences? Or is that only when 2 teams are playing?
Only when 2 teams are playing, when 3 teams are playing you only have to get 1 sequence
What happens when a player plays out of turn?
They have to pick up that chip and allow the right person to play.
A little confused about the 4 corners of the mat/board. Which cards can go there? Or do we use the joker 2 eyed Jacks? How does one make a sequence with a corner? Please elaborate
The 4 corners can be used by anyone meaning u can put any card there and u can make a sequence by making a diagonal line instead of a straight one

@bharatmatakijai9601 the corners are free spots, no card is needed. If making a sequence and the corner is used, you only need 4 to complete the sequence. It can be straight or diagonal

Somebody please explain this rule:
- For every 2 players or 2 teams: team players must be evenly divided into 2 teams. Team members must alternate their physical positions with opponents around the playing surface.
- For every 3 players or 3 teams: Team members must divide evenly into three teams. Team members will must alternate their physical positions every third player around the playing surface.
Players cut cards and lowest card deals - Aces are high.
So, like we have to physically alternate our positions?? How would that work?

No, a chip cannot be moved after it has been placed.

If y want a real challenge to the game y add the 4 jokers with the black and white jokers doing either a take off or a put on while the red and white joker exchanges chips. You dont quit after 2 scores but you play on till the whole board is filled and the pick up cards run out. That way you get much more scoring being able to get many more doubles, triples, and even quadrupals

If I have a sequence in the middle of the board, can I add 2 and 3 chips on either side to form 2 new sequences or is the original sequence fixed?
The original sequence is fixed. You can use 1 chip from a completed sequence towards another sequence.

The game comes with jokers. What are the rules for those cards or do they not get used?
Are they jacks? Two eyed jacks are wild and you can place your chip on any open space. One eyed jacks are anti-wild and can use it to remove one marker chip from the game board belonging to your opponent. That completes your turn. You cannot place one of your marker chips on that same space during this turn. You cannot remove a marker chip that is already part of a completed SEQUENCE.
Jokers are only for decorations they aren’t played in the game...
Can we use the four corners to make a sequence
Yes you can, as there's a coin printed on the four corners of the board which can be used as the fifth coin.

How dingo I play then the cards with the chips symbol. The video doesn’t show how to play then. It just says you can use the corners as a wild card.
On your turn - you produce a card from your hand, then place one of your team's coloured markers (chips) on either of the same two cards on the board.
If one of the pair is already covered then your choice is obviously limited to the single one that is still free - then draw a card from the deck to replace the one just played.
A double eye Jack in your hand lets you play a chip on any free space - a single eyed Jack lets you remove any opponents chip from the board.
There are a couple or so rules for specific situations, but this is the basics for playing from your hand on your turn.
MACONE Scotland thanks for that explanation. When I posted the inquiry above (with some ”typos” by the way, sorry for those ), I was more focused on understanding how to play the wild (aka, Joker) cards. Yesterday I came across a video that says the wild/joker cards may be put aside as they are not playable, and if you want to use a corner, you simply play a sequence of four around them (vertically, horizontally or diagonally). Is that how it is?
@@SirOreo62 The Joker cards in each of the two packs have no part in the game and can be discarded or destroyed immediately - why there are included makes no sense at all.
Otherwise you have it - the four corners are "universal" (for want of a better term) and can be used to produce a sequence when combined with four markers/chips as you describe.
I'm still getting clued up on a couple or so rules for specific situations. For example, it is possible to have a card in your hand which cannot be played because both the relevant spaces on the board have already been covered - this occurs when at least one of the Two Eyed Jacks has been used. In this scenario you can opt to "burn" the unplayable card by putting it to the bottom of the deck and drawing a fresh card from the top - but that is your turn over.

MACONE Scotland thanks for that answer!!! That's what I wanted to know. Even the instructions included in the game were not clear enough to me. I was left with the impression that they would be used like any other regular card.
@@SirOreo62 I was lucky - had one of those "Eureka" moments when the penny dropped and realised that the Jokers were totally redundant - went back to the instructions and it does say that !!!
Can't understand why they are included - the decks are clearly printed with the Sequence logo so are obviously intended for the game equipment. It would not be rocket science to have the card manufacturers drop them from the production run.
During lockdown we have been playing against two relatives using iPads on Facetime - it works fine as 2 v 2 with one person in each household partnering up to produce opposing teams - you MUST mothball one deck of cards from each box so as to maintain 104 cards in play across the two households, otherwise it doesn't pan out.
One player in each location deals the cards for both people in the same household - then play continues with each team replicating what chips have been played on a board in front of them - it's essential that both households keep a 100% accurate record of what's been played - one error can cause a fallout !!!
It only works out as a 2 v 2 setup as above, a third team can't participate because of the two deck issue.
BTW - it took me while to figure out why there are fewer red markers than the other two colours - that is also covered in the instructions !!! My dad had a mantra when a new piece of kit was purchased - "when all else fails, read the instructions" !!!

You can do that, remove their space then play on it with your next turn.

Whomever did not understand i can explain so if ur playing 2 ppl so u should give 7 cards and select the team which u wanted to be and take the chips and start the game so example blue team has to start now so he choose a any card and place them in the board so check the same! Symbol which has been there and place the chip in there so it has to straight to complete the game like ----- this so u have to check it has some space like when it is like this / or ! Like this an example so green team keeps there chip like this - ! Like this soo u dont have space ur card should be ded card and take the other card and skip ur chance and if u...i cant explain abt the characters 😢

What if player puts the chip on board say 10diamond, then removes his hand and within seconds he immediately switches to another 10 diamond position. Is it still valid !?
As long as the next player has not yet placed a marker, I would say yes it is valid. Once someone else plays, no.
I first discarded 10 diamond card and placed chip on 10 diamond, I removed my hand from the chip and within fraction of seconds I changed it another 10 diamond position. Is the move valid ?

No...not valid...once you remove your hand, your turn is over.
Your turn ends when you draw the replacement card. So, you can change your mind up until that point. This is not Chess, in which your turn ends after you remove your hand.
@@Citizen-pg8eu this makes sense . I infact did a practical test and outcome doesn't change.
But he said if you fail to get a replacement card by the time the next player takes a replacement card you miss out on a replacement card and continue with less cards so it is rational to assume that your turn has ended when you place your token not collecting a replacement card, and so, usually you can't move it after placing it. Similar to tablecard rules

Allow me to try explaining the game
When it is your turn you play a card and put one of your markers on the board that has the same number an suite as the card you played take the 3 of hearts as an example if you play that card you just put a marker on the board where it shows a 3 of hearts
Then you discard the card you played and draw another card
The first player to get 5 markers in a row wins (2 rows of 5 markers if it is a 2 player game)
The jacks that looks to the side can remove one of your opponents markers unless the marker is in a finnished row the other jacks lets you put a marker on any spot on the board unless the spot already has a marker
