Good morning ❤I hope you had a nice weekend. Today we’re talking about this new and popular tinted moisturizer. I love it and the glass skin effect it leaves behind. Do you think k you’ll try it out?
Awesome review Allison, both look great, the Chanel looked more dewy and luminous as though it lets your own skin colour shine through. The U Beauty looks lovely and like it gave more coverage. I haven’t tried either, only the Chanel water blush which I love and a little bit goes a long way. ❤
Hi Alli! I agree with you - the two products look similar. For those of us with mature combination skin, the You Beauty might be better for winter and the Les Beiges Water Fresh Teinte might be better for summer humidity. I haven’t tried You Beauty yet, but I will when it’s back in stock. I love your channel ❤
Thank you so much Maureen 🩵💙 I definitely agree with you. For me I’ve been enjoying the heavier tinted moisturizer for winter but the water fresh tint will be nicer for summer.
Hi Allison, the u beauty has more coverage. to me it’s og Chanel water fresh tint. Love that no makeup fresh look. You know I was watching Cheri voyage and she was using spring collection. So I tried how she did. She used first balm stick , then powder highlighter underneath foundation. She used different foundation, but I tried to use water fresh tint, and I loved it. It gave even more blurring, just enough glow and more moisturized. I love my Valmont skin serum one, but I think Chanel water fresh tint it’s my favorite🤔😜 Have a blessed day 🙏❤️
The Chanel is just a skin tint that I can use despite having sensitive skin with rosacea, while the UBeauty is more of a skincare product that happens to be tinted, that I can’t use because of the AHAs. I believe even people with normal skin have to be careful about mixing mandelic and glycolic acids with vitamin C or retinol. Just something to consider depending on the rest of one’s routine.
Oh that’s a good point! Yes, I agree UBeauty is definitely more skincare based than the Chanel Water Fresh Tint. I’ve really been enjoying the UBeauty tinted moisturizer because of the added moisture.
Oh, I see that now! Sorry about that. On the UBeauty website I had looked at the “key ingredients” a few weeks ago and they mentioned nothing about any AHAs. I didn’t look any further into the all of the ingredients, I should have. Now I have to check the ingredient list on their original Super Hydrator. 😳
I just ordered the U beauty tint , I got shade 5 I was between getting 4 or 5 the shade match thing said 5 so praying it works out . I got it for 20% off at skin store still like 92 with tax but better then 117 with tax 😂 I can't wait to try it I'll let u know how it goes.
I think the water fresh tint is a slightly sheerer product and less yellow - a slightly better match for your skin on camera. Maybe different in real life? I have my sons engagement party on the weekend and so wish you could pop over to Western Australia to do my makeup!! 🙏🏻 Can I ask your advice please? I am thinking to use either the Les Beiges healthy glow B30 or the water fresh tint Medium Light. Do you think the La Base Matifiante would work underneath these to reduce the glow a little? Also what Chanel powder would you recommend on top of these for an oilier, breakout prone skin with some texture (age/scarring) issues? Maybe the Poudre Universelle? Help! 😅
Yes to the matifiant primer, I think that the Les Beiges foundation might be too glowy test it out with the water fresh tint. And yes to the universelle loose powder! 😁
Hi Allison, I have a quick question. I still use the Chanel Les Beiges Fresh Water Tint but I do need a good moisturizer to use first that does not pill...any suggestions? I like the dewy finish of the tint but my moisturizes are not working including the Chanel Hydra Camelia Water Cream. I have dry skin. Thanks
Hi Allison...thanks for your quick reply. 🫶 I exfoliate twice a week. It seems like the moisturizer rolls up. I really love the water tint but I think moisturizing is complicated because of all the water..not sure. Chanel tells you all their moisturizers are computable of course. 🙄 Thank again you're the best!!!@@AllisonChase
@@denisebove8361 hmm interesting. Technically, you’re supposed to apply skincare and then wait 30 minutes before applying SPF, and another 30 minutes before applying makeup. This is of course for a perfect world 😂
LOL..I manage 15 minutes but 30 would be impossible. Will head out today and try some samples of different water base moisturizers. I just love the water tint too much to give it up. Cheers and have a good week.💖@@AllisonChase
This wasn't even on my radar didnt even know it came out but i really want to try it . I love the WFT i actually need to order another bottle and probably a travel size of medium plus to mix in i find medium alittle light for me . I feel like this U beauty one could be alittle more nourishing for this time of year i find the chanel is feeling alittle dry on me right now . Thank u for reviewing and making me soend more money 😂😂 💙
Beautiful! I have the Chanel I’m still testing it I’ll check this one out as well. Can you please do w video on your eye makeup in this video? I know it’s simple but I would like to know products that give my this simple but sultry eye look
I had been waiting for a review just like this, as I'm curious about the UBeauty Tinted Moisturizer. I'll probably wait on buying it, but it does seem like something I would enjoy.
Thanks for the thorough review! Both products look wonderful on you and the shades looked more similar to each other over time. I'm very curious to try the UBeauty but can't commit to ordering until I get swatched!
Hi all! Have you already compared the Chanel water fresh to the Erborian CC water??? I believe they might be very similar🤔 I haven't compared them yet, but I'm very curious! 😊
Really love your eye make-up. I'm a blond (well with silvery stripes now) with blue eyes, so not too sure about the blue look on me....but on you it looks so nice. Very clean look and I also like the striped top. Not interested in the other product, and already own the waterfresh teint, but I just can't resist Chanel reviews. 😂
Dear Allison😍, Great video and review as always 😘😘😘I was not sure about UBeauty, it looked a little yellow at first. In the end they look the same together. Hmm but I'm still for Les Beiges😍🥰😍
Hi Allison! I really love this product you introduce us today! I will have a look and try to find also in Europe! Moreover I have to subscribe again to your channel because I always watch your videos but today listening to you to control it I found out that my subscription was erased 🤦🏻♀️🥺how could it happen🤔…anyway I just did it again! A big hug beautiful 🥰
You are so welcome! I’m so glad that you enjoyed the video. Thank you for double checking 🥺 I don’t know what this happens but it seems to happen a lot for some reason. Thank you for subscribing again 💖
Thanks for this video ❤ I would like to know if the U beauty tinted hydrator is suitable for extremely sensitive skin. And also how does it compare with the Westman Atelier complexion drops, please?
I'm confused to what the difference is between Cannel Les Beiges Eau de Teinte Water-Fresh Tint that you are showing in this video (square bottle, black top, clear bottom) or Channel Les Beiges Touche de teint Water-fresh complexion tint (round bottle, black top and bottom)?
Chiming in - Ali is right, the complexion touch has more coverage. I wear it to work because it lasts all day on me while the water fresh tint disappears after a few hours. For running errands, etc., I like the water fresh tint. I’ve barely made a dent in the complexion touch bottle, but I’ve finished two bottles of water fresh tint. Complexion touch comes in more shades and I get a better color match with it. There’s a big jump from light to the medium light shade in WFT and I have to mix the two to get a good match. In complexion touch, BD21 is a perfect match. I hope this helps!

Happy Monday Alli! That cat eye look suits you so freaking well.
Good morning! Happy Monday 💙 Thank you so much, I think I'll wear it more often 💙💙💙

Thank you! Glad it was helpful. I layered the Chanel with the UBeauty on top, it works really nicely.

That was not on my radar, but that looks truly lovely on you Alli💜
Oh thank you! I’m glad to have brought it to your radar.
Love to try the ubeauty one , it looks great on your skin
Oh thank you! I hope you like it too ❤

hese 2 products are very similar, you can't see the difference on your skin. Very pretty😍😍😍
Oh thank you! Have a great week 💖
Hi Allison! I was waiting for this video! 🥰
Good morning! Glad I can review it 😘🥰 Are you going to try out the new tinted moisturizer?
@@AllisonChase I’m not sure ai can find it in Italy. But I’d like to 😊
@@angelabenigno that’s fair. I ordered directly from the UBeauty site but I’m not sure if they have an Italian website.
@@AllisonChaseI don’t know that brand but I’ve heard some rumors about it. Anyway I love high end makeup ❤
@@angelabenigno I love their overnight mask as well 💖

There are no AHA’s in the UBeauty Tinted Hydrator. You might be thinking of their resurfacing compound. ☺
@@susanmcintyre9934 check out the ingredients using Allie’s link in the description box. It includes mandelic acid and glycolic acid, both AHAs.

Especially during the day! They better be remembering to use sunscreen and reapply.
Honestly they look pretty close. I think I like the Ubeauty better.
They really do. I prefer UBeauty right now that it’s very cold and wintery but I’ll prefer the Water Fresh Tint during the summer.

Hi, Allyson. It's a no for me! I definitely will stay wish chanel.
Fair enough!
They look the same
I think so too!
Thank you for the thorough review!
