Haru kun, It is wonderful to find your video. I am a senior citizen (normal Japanese ), your age is like my grand child age. I was born in Showa era, worked hard during the Heisei era . For few years, I lived in the other cities in Europe in 80s. I met lots of young boys like you, they all had brilliant skills like you. Hey haru!! I just wanted to recommend that instead of hair drying you can use a loose/tight hairband so that your bangs doesn't come on your face and to let them dry naturally. My favourite hobbies to do alone is take a walk while listening to music and to explore busy cities in search of good places The hobbies I like to do with others is to eat and to walk while talking of fun and happy memories.
Hi Haru! I'm a new viewer from the Philippines, and I just wanted to say that I really enjoy your videos. I love how relatable your content is-it feels like I’m just chatting with a friend who truly understands what it's like to be a student. I go through a lot of the same challenges, balancing studies, trying to find some downtime, and figuring out what I want to do in life. Watching your videos gives me this comforting sense that I’m not alone in this journey, and it’s inspiring to see you navigating your own path so authentically. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us, and I’m looking forward to all the amazing content you’ll create in the future! Wishing you all the best and lots of success! 😊
I come from Germany and am 14 years old, I don't have any real friends either, I think your video is really good, I just want to say that you shouldn't stop believing in yourself and that you should enjoy every day
Haru you are an inspiration, your words are so meaningful to a person living in England and struggling with the craziness of the country at this time. Simply doing nothing and appreciating what beauty there is in life all around you is a magical thing! I go to a local village in summer a lot to sit by a large pond and enjoy some snacks and ambient sounds :) In winter I go to the city a lot and have more nice food there at a lovely market. The sky is always there, and you're right, it is wonderful!! I wish you nothing but the best in life :)
One thing I love about Japan is that The sky always looks crazy cool, dw bro u ain’t as lonely as you think you are you have such a chill community here on UA-cam and family that cares for you
I discovered your channel through your previous video. I'm a digital programming student from Malaysia, and I'll be completing my final semester next month. My college experience has been relatively simple and quiet. I used to be an extrovert, active in sports, meeting new people, and always being that "reliable" friend. However, recently, I've found myself enjoying solitude more. Many people in my life have told me, "Just because you're getting older doesn't mean you just change completely." But in reality, I took the time to observe the people around me and realized that none of them truly valued me, either as a person or as a friend. That's when my journey toward inner peace began.
i just discovered your channel yesterday, and even though i have friends and i’m definitely an extrovert, there’s still things in my life that relate to yours and i don’t know how to cope with them, but thanks to you i’ve started to learn that i don’t need to rely on people to make me happy or keep me in place, i can do it myself, thank you so much ❤
Haru! I was just in Japan with my boyfriend a few days ago! I am a new subscriber after I came home to America, I found your channel. Thank you for saying that foreign tourists are nice. Osaka was amazing and a lot of fun. When I go back to Japan, I want to visit Kyoto! Maybe I will bump into you on the Shinkansen and let you know that I love watching your ‘ordinary’ life which I admire a lot. Japan is so beautiful, I miss it everyday.

Everyone is smart and having a good future !!! For example my mom is from Japan 🇯🇵 and my father is from Indian 🇮🇳 and I really respect every religion & countries specially the Indian due they are smart and intelligent with kindness and supportive so I appreciate that my father is Indian man ❤️❤️
Sometimes I hate it when I tell people, "I go to this cafe alone." or they just know that I like to do and explore things alone. People like to give me a pity gaze when they know that, thinking I am lonely. But I just enjoy doing and exploring things all by myself and their gaze makes me feel lonely. I started feeling like I shouldn't be doing all the things I like alone, until I stumble across your videos, Haru. I like to play your video as I work or study. Your videos remind me that it's okay to enjoy the things I like alone and people's pity shouldn't stop me from doing the things that I like. Thank you for your videos!
Hello again Haru. Greetings from Finland that is gradually getting darker since winter is getting closer. My work begins at 7.30 and I get up at 6.30 so I have 30 minutes before I leave to work, I like to arrive little sooner, to get ready for the day. I usually just eat a little before I go, wash my teeth and do some other washing too, then get dressed and bike to my working place. I bike year round, even when there's a lot of snow on the ground. I'm always in hurry during the weekdays, I don't work on weekends so I have slower mornings then. I don't really have a lot of hobbies but I love learning languages. I've tried to learn Portuguese and Korean recently. I've also began to learn Japanese but that I haven't done in a while. I don't have hobbies that I could do with others since there is no others whom I could do anything. I used to write stories and I used to read a lot but all those I have left because I just don't have any energy left after coming back home, in the evening. I'm also interested in taking photos, I'd do vlogging if I had good equipment but those sort of things are pretty expensive in Finland. But I really would love to do vlogs. Have a nice weekend. Merja

Hello, i am actually 17 too , I hope you're good 😊. When I was 15 I had a difficult period because I was alone and don’t have friend but now I find people that actually care for me even if sometime I felt lonely.I am sure that one day you will find good friend to share time with, and also being lonely is not bad , it's not a shame . Sorry for my bad english I am french
I know that having no friends can get lonely sometimes but look at you, you are doing such a wonderful job!! I just came across your channel today while I was having dinner and its so peaceful. I have no friends too but life’s better that way. U have us, and I have u. Keep uploading!! U just made my day:)
Hello Haru, I’m a new subscriber from the U.S. (California). I am hoping to visit Japan one day. I also think it’s really cool that you vlog, I would like to vlog also, but I’m very shy. I also think your cat is adorable🐈⬛. Thank you for sharing your videos🙏 Karlie Oh, I think we have the same shoes! I wear Vans just like that. ❤
This is so soothing to watch, and teaches us that we will be just fine on our own. I’ve recently returned from my first visit to Japan and loved every minute spent there. ❤ I’m 64, and since retiring many “friends” have disappeared and, initially, adjusting to a more quiet life was a huge struggle. But watching your video brings comfort. 😊
I'm 19 years old and from Sweden. I don't really have any friends either, at least not close ones. I'm still in contact with a few old classmates but don't have anyone to call or hang out with during my days. Thank you for making this video and showing how it's okay to be by yourself, I feel more at ease now that I'm reading all of these comments as well. Hope everyone is having a great day and wish all of you luck with finding friendships in the future!
Hey Haru. I'm in the same condition as you if it comes to social affairs. I have no friends, although I'm not antisocial. I'm not being bullied nor am I very popular in the environments I'm inevitably thrown into. I manage to do well by myself, and it's peaceful. It's hard to stay organized and disciplined though. My goal is to emigrate to Japan once I'm financially independent. I'll probably have no real social milieu by then, but that's okay. Though you might be an average person through the lens of society, for me, you're an inspiration, someone that confidently and calmly maintains his principles. I want to be like that too. Your videos motivate me to fulfill that ambition, so I'm gonna continue watching every single one, hoping you'll share more of your life. Thanks Haru, I hope you had a great weekend.
i honestly love this guy, i feel so relatable w his life. the gap between my ideals and introvert is really far too, im happy to fine the same person like me in the internet. I hope u will keep uploading more of ur daily life! its very nice and chill to watch
Aw, Haru I felt like I was in Japan. I enjoyed every bit of the video from the train journeys to temples, to cafes, to river views to night walks to the relaxing music towards the end!! 😍 @10:37 the view is stunning & well captured!🫶🏻🌸 I am an introvert and maybe that's another reason I could connect and feel happy!
These videos are comforting. It's nice to see someone else's life, which is the same, but different. As an American, I have a lot of good friends, but most of them live in different states...or even different countries, so I am often alone. Sometimes it feels a little heavy, but taking a step back and appreciating the solitude is good. There is quite joy that can come from being by myself if I look beyond the loneliness. I love the soft music and sounds of life. They are super calming, and watching the everyday activities is soothing.
Hii Haru this is Sanskar from India... I loved to watch yours vlogs i am very obsessed with the JAPAN and its culture|| now i had watched your recent video which cross millions of views in that video i realised your misssing something and that is friends... Hello Haru, I’m a university student in New York City, and I live similar to you. I eat udon almost every day lol! It was always my dream to move here, but something very bad happened to me last year. I have many friends, but I feel so alone still. Living and taking care of myself each day has been difficult, but you have inspired me to do my best. I want to be able to live a peaceful and happy life despite what I am going through. Like you said, notice beauty in the ordinary cityscape and able to say “the sky is beautiful today”. Thank you for inspiring me
I’m sending a big hello all the way from India! 🇮🇳 I just wanted to let you know how much I absolutely adore your vlogs. Your energy is infectious, and every time I watch your videos, it feels like I’m going on an adventure with you! It’s amazing how your content brings so much joy and positivity, no matter where you're filming from. I really appreciate how you make every day feel special and relatable, and it’s always a highlight in my day to see a new upload from you! Your work feels like a mini escape, and I’m so grateful for the way you connect with all of us, no matter the distance!!!!!!!!!
A moment ago I had woken up without energy, and right now I can't stop smiling because of how happy this video made me, I'm going to look forward to studying Japanese today, I feel so motivated thanks to this video, and you, good job ✨☺️
I had to take a screen shot of your comment about the temple, “but there is still so much I don’t know, and finding these beautiful secret places and little cafes is a small pleasure”.
Had been eagerly waiting for your video! It was nice to see Sora, please show more of her 🥹🙃, I am sad you couldn’t find your favorite shoes, hope you will get it soon. The ambience of the river area at night was really awesome, thanks for showing us that! Keep posting soon🌸
Hello Haru, I hope you're doing okay! I just watched you yesterday, and I realized we share a lot in common. Such as having few friends who love me, and loving them back. It really doesn't need to have many friends to feel included and loved, and I've realised it thanks to you :3 I hope you'll do better in life. Good day/night!! Saluts from Morocco! 🇲🇦🇯🇵🫶🏻❤.
Hi Haru! I watched your omelette video yesterday and you are just naturally funny which makes it super authentic when connecting with you man. Keep it up love the videos
You've learnt valuable lessons at such a young age, you can be proud of yourself, good work! I am a french woman living in The Netherlands, your videos are important to me, they bring me peace and anchor me in reality. I learn more about myself and others by watching videos like yours than animes or TV shows, because that's what they are, shows. I like the simplicity and therefore purity of the life you show. It calms my mind and make me focus on what is important. So thank you :)
Omg I love your voice! Thank you for making relaxing and inspiring videos! I don't usually leave comments, but I feel like I resonate with your content . Thank you so much!
I am a first year in uni, but my second year here, and my hobbies could be considered as "grandma-like" lol. But I really don't see them that way, I love having calm and peaceful hobbies such as knitting, reading books, writing my take on the book and the sentences I love and writing stories... They calm me down, especially writing down my thoughts or just spewing some stories, whenever I feel like I need to just let out some steam. However, I love talking about global news and books I loved reading or just simply sitting down together in silence and taking in my environment... Especially taking "casual and every day" photos of the scenery I see every day much like you do... And on a side note, yo sing very well Haru so no need to worry about it :)
Hello haru I have just finished watching the third video in a row of yours, I got to say they are really well produced and not overedited, the music is relaxing and so are the visuals. I have to say I was once in your place too that I felt I didn't have friends, but we all do, someone you saw once on the street saw your smile and it made their day, someone who went to school with still wonders how you are doing nowadays, i suffer from anxiety and adhd which combined is not really a good idea, but I still managed to overcome it and made hundreds of friends online or in the many countries i have lived throught my 22 years of existence. I wish you much success and please don't ever stop dreaming neither give up on your dreams. Go out have fun like its your last day alive all within moderation obviously hahaha. Big hug from Portugal
Thanks for the Kyoto tour Haru. I intend staying in Kyoto for a couple of months next year. I wanted to share with you the thought that you are at the centre of your own story. I appreciate your openness very much! ❤
Hi Haru! Ciao from Italy 😊Thank you for your video! I just returned home after spending two weeks in Japan, (visited Kyoto and Tokyo) and with your video I felt like I was still there 😊 when I was there I always wondered how people would spend their time, or what would be their thoughts. So I’m happy I can see your point of view❤ Keep doing what makes you happy ciao ciao 👋
Hi Haru! I recently found out your channel. I really like your content and makes me want to meet someone like you in real life. I often feel lonely but your videos bring me comfort. After watching this video, I feel like I can be more confident and comfortable to be alone. I am an introvert too and always struggle with how people think of me, but your videos make me feel like it is okay to be myself. So ありがとう!!!
I thought your singing was great Haru. That inflection at 16:46 was perfect and really pretty. As someone who has sung my whole life, I will say to keep practicing. One day you’ll realize how good your voice actually sounds. Another thing is be confident when you sing. It strengthens your voice and will help you sing better. Do voice warm ups too. They sound dumb but help lol. I used to be a soprano but practiced singing lower and lower, and my vocal range actually improved. So if you ever want to improve your vocal range, I believe you got this. You sound great. Keep practicing!
For the first time i watched your video, i´m alone but not lonesome, i think you are doing well on your own. Thank you for the peek behind the curtains of your daily life .
Hi Haru! I have recently started to watch your videos and I love them!! They give me so much inspiration, one day I will be living in Japan! I have always dreamed of going to Japan one day and your videos give me more motivation to live there on day! Thank you so much for the opportunity you give everyone! ありがとうございます! ❤
just followed this channel, your new viewer from the Philippines i enjoy watching your videos. i used to be comfortable with a large group of people in my university but when i came to realize that being alone can give happiness and making your own decisions can be as good too. I have been also dealing with anxiety that's why i came to realize having that comfort zone to myself is also great. Keep up with the videos!
You have a big space for someone staying alone in Japan. Your cat is so 😍. At least you have him as companion😊 I enjoy watching you eating different varieties of food. 😋
I'm an introverted woman from Germany, could probably be your mother agewise, and I must thank you for your wise words. It's very true. Have a small group of friends who can rely on you and you can rely on is much more important than to be the most popular person, which always has to be superficial. Thank you for this video. I'll follow you on your way 😃
Haru, my boyfriend (husband-to-be) passed away three weeks ago. I feel so empty right now. Watching your vlogs is relaxing and chill. Could you please recommend some anime or manga, Haru? I’m bored with my routines and looking for something to pass the time every day

Hello Haru, Thank you for your videos I am disabled and live a very solitary life with few friends. I live in the US and long to travel to Japan someday. I watch many videos of solo travel across your beautiful country. They help take away the isolation I feel.
Your videos make me want to slow down a bit, which is such a nice treat to have as an anxious person that never lives in the moment. Oh, and by the way, your voice is beautiful. Keep singing.
You have very good English! And they are really kind and humble, love that, nowadays it's odd to find that. We really can learn from everyone nowadays... thanks for your philosophy, just found you and you really have made up my week, have been struggling lately and seeing the world from your perspective (comments included)... Really hit the spot. Thank you very much Haru 心から、ありがとう
I'm impressed of how Japanese people can go out alone without feeling uncomfortable. Like, eating alone or going to karaoke alone...that's something I couldn't do in my country bc I think people would see me alone and think I'm lonely or something...congrats! it seems you had a nice day in Kyoto
These days where people's lives are made so public for everybody to see, it's easy to think "That is what happiness looks like, and if my life is not like that, then I cannot be happy." But happiness is found in whatever you think is important. If you can achieve the goals you set yourself, maintain the relationships you find in important, and be a good person to those you respect, then you don't need to live "loudly". We all have our own ideas of what a fulfilling life is made of, and we need to fight against the life that social media tells you that you need to have.
I recently discovered your channel and have been enjoying your videos. Thank you for sharing your visit to Kyoto with us. I went to Kyoto 2 months go and it was nice to see the streets and area I explored during my trip.

Thank you for sharing your experiences with us, and I’m looking forward to all the amazing content you’ll create in the future! Wishing you all the best and lots of success! 😊
Let's make new, more peaceful generations all over the world🤣 jk
@Haru_is_japanese +1
I come from Germany and am 14 years old, I don't have any real friends either, I think your video is really good, I just want to say that you shouldn't stop believing in yourself and that you should enjoy every day
im in the same situation friend, but the best friend you can have is yourself, Hope you a good day
You have to do a videoblog as him!!!
You are still young! You have a lot of experience ahead of you!
@@Haru_is_japanese do you know Christ?
Please... you're young, you still have time to catch some friends.
New viewer from the US. ^_^ Thanks for being my calming video this morning after a very unsettling night for me.
That's when my journey toward inner peace began.
i just discovered your channel yesterday, and even though i have friends and i’m definitely an extrovert, there’s still things in my life that relate to yours and i don’t know how to cope with them, but thanks to you i’ve started to learn that i don’t need to rely on people to make me happy or keep me in place, i can do it myself, thank you so much ❤
I'm basically an introvert, but sometimes I can be ridiculously diplomatic, so I feel people aren't one-dimensional. Thank you for commenting🥰
@@Haru_is_japanese you’re welcome ❤
Sending a hello from another college student with no friends here in the U.S! Thank you for spreading positivity, you got this!
HEY! What do you mean you have no friends bro we are your supporters , we are your friends make sure to always think that you’re never alone !❤
Thank youuuuu🥰
Well said !
Your videos are great and bring happiness. Sometimes solitude is beautiful. Personally, I find comfort when I sit with myself.❤
Don’t be sad, you’re not alone. I want to be and live like you, a student in japan living quiet peaceful life like you:)
Merja
ur videos makes me feel alive i am 17 and ur word are so comforting its the first time i heard , i always take world for granted because i am always alone but after watching u do stuf alone it gives me insp
HARU ! ! ! Your cat is absolutely かわいい😍 ! It’s very nice to met this channel hhhhh
Hello Haru,
I’m a new subscriber from the U.S. (California).
I am hoping to visit Japan one day.
I also think it’s really cool that you vlog, I would like to vlog also, but I’m very shy.
I also think your cat is adorable🐈⬛.
Thank you for sharing your videos🙏
Karlie
Oh, I think we have the same shoes!
I wear Vans just like that. ❤
this was so comforting, as always. you live the life i want to live, haru. thank you so much for sharing this. ❣
I really like your videos . Your videos are really my comfort place now. ❤
i honestly love this guy, i feel so relatable w his life. the gap between my ideals and introvert is really far too, im happy to fine the same person like me in the internet. I hope u will keep uploading more of ur daily life! its very nice and chill to watch
Next year I'll be visiting Japan, thanks to yuour video I have noted some special places that I would love to see. I really enjoyed your video!
haru you are so good at singing your voice is so calming and beautiful! keep singing! :3
Aw, Haru I felt like I was in Japan. I enjoyed every bit of the video from the train journeys to temples, to cafes, to river views to night walks to the relaxing music towards the end!! 😍
@10:37 the view is stunning & well captured!🫶🏻🌸
I am an introvert and maybe that's another reason I could connect and feel happy!
Pls don't do that mistake make friends cuz friendship is the biggest treasure in our life ||
Hello Haru,
I’m a university student in New York City, and I live similar to you.
Don’t listen to people… Do videos and titles the way YOU want to do them! Do what you want to do NOT what other people tell you. GOOD JOB🎉
Haru just wanted to say I love your videos they give such peaceful and quiet vibes I love it! Also I love your taste in shoes! ^^
u have the most chillest life u can ever have
I like to read and listen to music alone. With other I like to play games or hang out and play or just talk.
Your voice sounds really kind and you're good at singing. You should cover songs if you want! And the evening sky looks peaceful too.
So I’m happy I can see your point of view❤
Keep doing what makes you happy
ciao ciao 👋
This inspires me to live better, thank you Haru for the content.
Thank you for your supporting🥰
Don't ever feel weak about your physical condition, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger!! 自分も色々あって共感できるそうなので、チャンネル見つけてよかったです!

Thank you for the peek behind the curtains of your daily life .
I just love Japan, I can't wait to go back next year. Your videos remind me of the things I've missed since my last visit
Hi, being alone doesn't mean you are lonely, you have an amazing community. I enjoy my solitude when I can. Keep up the good work. :D
I'll follow you on your way 😃
Found your channel due to algoryhtm, stayed due to the peace your videos brought to me. Thank you for sharing your life with us! 🫂
Haru, my boyfriend (husband-to-be) passed away three weeks ago. I feel so empty right now. Watching your vlogs is relaxing and chill. Could you please recommend some anime or manga, Haru? I’m bored with my routines and looking for something to pass the time every day

I just started watching your videos and really enjoy them. Love learning all about Japan!
I am a japanese American born and raised in USA. My family and I just visited my mother's family in Japan. It was my first time visiting and I can't wait to go back. I found japan to be so beautiful
Hey Haru! Im 13 old from Portugal but living in the United Kingdom. I have a few freinds but I only talk to them at school and dont usually talk to them that much at school either. I like my life how it is because its very peaceful, nobody annoys or hates me. I hope you have a good life!!!
This was very relaxing to watch, thank you!
I'm from Wales (UK) and I have one freind I can say almost everything to, she is my cousin so we have know each other since birth. We both struggle with shcool and at one point neither of us have an education, fortunately she now has a home tutor and I go to a shcool full of kids similar to me, so I enjoy shcool now, I don't get to visit my cousin often as she is home bound and I don't leave the house often but when I do I enjoy taking the long walk to her house enjoying the scenery, thanks for the relaxing video, I love to see more about other countries! 😊
Watching your video just before going to bed...I feel relaxed. Love from Nepal❤
Hello Haru, Thank you for your videos I am disabled and live a very solitary life with few friends. I live in the US and long to travel to Japan someday. I watch many videos of solo travel across your beautiful country. They help take away the isolation I feel.
my last visit to kyoto was 7 years ago. seeing the clips of kyoto in your video brought back so many great memories...
I have really enjoyed the creativity of your vlog. Every scene, every cut, just brilliant!
New video when haru? Yk I'm so addicted to watching your vlogs 😂 please upload more 😗
