It’s actually crazy how smart the community was to discover this dude. Literally the dude was SO fucking sly changing his name just so people wouldn’t connect the dots in hopes people would assume it was just a mass server problem (even tho I’d think that even if he was in every game that it happened most people wouldn’t be able to connect the dots)
Yet this dude literally CHANGES HIS NAME every time he does it just so people wouldn’t connect it to him and the community still managed to connect it to who was doing it within DAYS simply by looking at the account level. That’s actually crazy. Some peoples’ brains in this game are massive

I legit think super is gonna play Zarya in OWL next season. Remember last season when shock didn't have a genji so super randomly started playing it on stream and then played it for a couple matches? Now he's been playing almost exclusively Zarya for nearly a month, which happens to be the only offtank that Choi isn't top tier on. Maybe it won't come to fruition but I feel like they've at least talked about it. I for one would love to see Smurf monke and super Zar.

Ppl also used to crash the game/freeze your console as well. Sometimes they would also restart the game, but usually the losers just ddossed you. But yeah I very very vividly remember.

On Xbox we have a similar problem but it’s through a website and they crash individual people on the other team when they are losing so it becomes a 5v6

that's straight up ddosing, that used to happen to me a lot (it's a console thing). it's different for console and pc. on console, the most common way of ddosing is sending a message to multiple players that is either random words with weird letters or random emojis like a box with a question mark in it. on pc, it's through the game's code, through an entirely different mod, or through a website.
ik a lot more about console than pc so I'm not sure if I'm correct or not.
(Edit: on PlayStation I think the messages are sent through the app and somehow they encodes the messages with something by hooking up their phone to their pc)

Mic issue was not hardware problem, thats hertz setting in OBS. you have to set 44.1Hz on UA-cam, and 48Hz on Twitch
