Logically speaking, Hawk should beat Sam if the writing was consistent. He was regularly portrayed as being relative to Miguel and Robby in S4-5, which puts him well above Sam. But that said, after how bad Hawk’s showings were in S6, I just can’t in good conscience rank above Sam anymore (or Tory for that matter). Like yeah he had bad showings in S5, but they were excusable. His loss to Kenny was caused by restraint and a biased ref allowing an illegal injury, and his unimpressive showing against Kyler was due to him only using Miyagi Do. It’s not like Sam didn’t also struggle to beat Devon that season. But after S6, I just can’t make anymore excuses for this fodder. Sam has just generally demonstrated much better feats, or more importantly, less anti feats than Hawk. Hawk was outperformed by the power couples, he got tripped up by Devon, ragdolled multiple times by Demetri’s kick, did worse against Yoon than Sam did, etc. It doesn’t make sense, and he should be relative to Miguel and Robby. Another point is hawk beat russian captain Vlad in the brawl, who is one of the strongest fighters in the sekai takai after axel robby miguel kwon, which means hawk places above him and below the rest 4, meaning sam is below him. It is also worth noting that hawk overall has been the better fighter since s1 (debate if you want), and is the most versatile and experienced fighter (in terms of training styles), mastering kreese's cobra kai, johnny's cobra kai and miyagi do, and even knows more styles like chozens offensive style of miyagi do, and kreese's fight smart style. Hawk in 3 ways scales way above sam, and will be able to mid diff her. He probably only loses to axel miguel robby and probably is relative to kwon at his peak. Hawk slaps Sam. Sam got challenged by the female Dublin Thunder captain even after that training montage with Robby and the senseis. This same character got dropped by Hawk in under five seconds. This was also before the team got locked in. Hawk was still somewhat unbalanced and he still easily beat a character the peak Sam struggled with. Hawk beat Yoon who is better than Sam. Before you say that Kenny and Demetri helped Hawk, keep in mind that Hawk was the only one who was actually giving him trouble skill wise and stopped him from tagging out twice before landing the point. Hawk also knocked out a Russian fighter who may have still been on PEDs. Sam is kind of trash in part 2 not gonna lie.

And in tournament I feel without plot Hawk would win but the show would give it to Sam but in street fight Hawk would use his speed and strength to take the win and he is more durable and has more endurance.

@@anthonycobrakai look Cobra Kai scaling is weird and inconsistent in my opinion because it doesn't make sense why one character would be above another in a certain period of time look at Kenny in s4 he started training whereas Kyler has been training since s3 nonstop yet in s5 people say Kenny is above Kyler when it doesn't make sense another scenario in s4 hawk was stated to be one of the best fighters alongside Robby and Miguel which should put him above Tory and Sam then later in s5 Sam and hawk started training in the same period of time and got stronger than their s4 selves but because hawk didn't win any fights in s5. Both Sam and Tory are above him which doesn't even make sense in my opinion.

That was 2 seasons ago and they have all gotten better since then. And Robby beating Tory was the first episode of s4 where they haven’t trained after s3 so that was their s3 versions, and not even that Sam is stronger than Tory in s4

@@emgaming6496 you may not agree but without plot Hawk isn’t to close but he is decently close to Robby and Miguel. And Sam and Tory are relative to Zara. In the background you see Robby throw Zara which was funny because you can tell she can’t do anything against the main guys because of size and strength. Which means the boys can do the same to Tory and Sam. And in tournament I feel without plot Hawk would win but the show would give it to Sam but in street fight Hawk would use his speed and strength to take the win and he is more durable and has more endurance.
