I’m relatively new to the sport and although I live around the corner from meadowlark, it’s too difficult for me. I have been going to Edgewood and love it. What other trails do you recommend for beginners ?

I think manorville is pretty easy. It's got some hills but no challenging technical stuff.

I didn’t know meadowlark was challenging,,, though about Edgewood, but I don’t even know what a DEC permit is,,,, I’d like to watch a video about Long Island MTB trails and how difficult they are.

Elber Gattiessa you can get a DEC permit online. I never got one and was never asked about it. They are free.
