I was so excited when I found this course I thought it was too good to be true. The official open course resources from Yale, Stanford, Oxford, and MIT don’t seem to include much on China as far as I’ve found. The audio quality tends to be quite good. When I found this course, I was so excited but I thought: maybe the audio quality will be bad. Audio issues plague one of my favorite open courses, Professor Richard Bulliet’s world history. Lecture 1 was high quality. Sadly, here it seems we have a trouble frequency around 959hz, just below 1k. If any Princeton audio technicians are watching: take that frequency out of the mix using a graphic or parametric EQ! I’m going to listen to every lecture of this course but I hope the issues get resolved. ❤❤❤❤❤

Please try and stay near the mic as it's difficult to hear you when you move away from it

If you guys gonna make some serious strategies based on this, I will be so optimism about the battle between China and America

I find it incredible that Truex has to spoon this basic political pablum to 300-level Ivy League babies.

I have gone through your first lecture.
My comments are still the same.
Try to learn the Chinese language. Don't be an arm chair critic.

My apologies for the earlier comment. The ability to speak Mandarin should give a more balanced understanding of China.

    非此即彼,永远只能用自己的眼光浅薄地看待中国。中国的复杂性丰富性根本不懂。不过也挺好,美国都这种水平,挺好的。
