  • Henri #bergson Have you ever deeply contemplated the nature of #time and how it shapes our lives? In this video, we explore the fascinating #philosophical discussion about time, its #time_perception , and its impact on our #existence .
French #philosopher #Henri_Bergson challenged our traditional understanding of time by distinguishing between objective time and subjective time, or what he referred to as "duration." We explore how memory plays a crucial role in our perception of time, allowing us to forge our #identity through our past experiences.

We swim in the river of time. Like a fish we don’t know we are in it. Then we go and measure it and turn it into an object we can torture ourselves and others with. Time is money. Time to go to work. Your time is up. I love thinking about this stuff. Love the video ❤. But I think it is time that we love in the end.

@Mark.Allen1111, that's a profound and poetic reflection on the river of time! It's fascinating how our understanding of time can shape our lives and society. And you're absolutely right; amidst all the measurements and deadlines, it's important to cherish the moments of love and connection. Time well spent indeed! 🌊⏳❤️ Thank you for enjoying the video!

Time cannot be observed without a measuring device. The only processes we can observe directly are physical changes in movements and forms.

I understood duration completely different. Not as subjective time, but as an (objective) movement that cannot be spitted into segments, like the flight of a bird 🤔

indeed, Instead of segmenting it, he sees it as an unbroken flow, much like the flight of a bird, where each moment seamlessly transitions into the next.

As one of my music teachers would say - Jazz is for sophisticated minds(didn't do much for me in high school as Classical, EDM and House took priority but palette has a tendency to evolve over time) . @@mindphilo

@illustratedbliss yeah our musical tastes can undergo a metamorphosis ober time, Yet, jazz, with its philosphical essence, encourage us to navigate the improvisational spaces of existence hh and if you find yourself enjoying jazz now, just think of it as your musical palate aging like a perfectly aged wine - sophisticated and full-bodied ;-) #PhilosophyInJazz

All the videos on this channel are spoken by a individual with a very anodyne vocal persona. For the spoken word to be effectively received, the receptor must
sensorally feel engaged and this speaker is significantly unable to do so. He has no rhythmic vitality, speaks with a droning cadence and flat affect. I would be happy to read the scripts, but I cannot stand to listen to the speaker; so I have only ever listened to approximately two minutes, then I close the channel.

Hey @salvandorum , thanks for sharing your thoughts! I'm sorry to hear that the delivery hasn't resonated with you. I'm no pro, just a philo passionate doing my best. I totally get that everyone has their taste, and mine might not hit the right notes for everyone. Your feedback is valuable, thank you
