Es un pez raro pero muy rico en Eñ Salvador en el oriente del pais le llaman sapamiche he atrapado muchos de ellos y los he comido en Sopa es un pez muy caracteristico vive en cuevas de piedras de arena o lodo su piel es muy ligosa gelatinosa con un gran osico y tiene una fuerte mordida capaz de cortar los anzuelos y es capaz de sobrevivir por horas fuera del agua su habita
