    And this was already after his prime! Toni will always be my GOAT. No ego, very creative, and unselfish player who put the team first and he always remains that way. What a phenomenal person on and off court.

    Tony played with 2 best forever, Jordan and Iverson. But his best games are with Dino Rađa. Dino is Toni basketball soulmate. Today they can play together with close eyes

    Thanks for doing this video. It shows what the team could have been if Ratliff had stayed healthy. Iverson, Kukoc, Ratliff, McKie and Snow was their best lineup. Kukoc's passing was contagious. I always wished they could've kept that squad together longer.

    Philly should have tried their best to get a center while retaining Toni. He was the best complimentary player for AI and the rest of the team.

    Like having a 7' shooting guard. He was a ball handler, creative/smart passer, had a soft shooting touch from anywhere and could hit 3s. .. and he could drive to the basket WITHOUT the "Euro-step"!!!

    here is when he wasn't oppressed by Jordan and Pippen, I mean...he is a nice guy and playing with them was his task, he was happy about it and all, but his talent was enormous, being a starring partner (even good as he was) wasn't respectful for what he was..I think if he started playing with another (more leading) role in the NBA he would gave the world much more of what he gave...I'm sorry about that, because with a bit more of self-consciousness and aggressiveness he could become a monster...he is in my opinion the best european ever (apart Cosic but those were other times and other basketball)

    • @vladimirmihajlovic2485
      @vladimirmihajlovic2485 9 років тому +2

      Imdisappointed Yeah, he would arguably have been an All Star with any other team. On the other hand he had the fortune to be on the greatest basketball team to ever play the game and was one of the main contributors on that team which in itself is an amazing achievement. I am not sure he is the best Euro player of all time in the competition of Petrovic, Sabonis and Nowitzki

    • @kikik872
      @kikik872 9 років тому +3

      +Vladimir Mihajlović i agree maybe hes not best european player of all time but for me hes in best euro line up....PG ParkerSG PetrovicSF KukocPF NowitzkiC Sabonis (before injuries)

    • @Imdisappointed
      @Imdisappointed 9 років тому +6

      +Vladimir Mihajlović In my personal opinion, I consider him the smartest and the most all-around of all european players...I like him more than Nowitzki because of his terrible passes that really amazed me the most! Petrovic and Sabonis were surely more effective but Toni gives me more emotion...but this is really just my point of view. That basketball was amazing btw :)

    • @robbyatmaja6896

      can't agree more, he shouldn't a sixth man. i'm agree that he's one of the big reason behind bulls' second threepeat.
      he deserve more.

    • @vladimirmihajlovic2485
      @vladimirmihajlovic2485 9 років тому +6

      No doubt he'd average 20 in almost any other teams. He even did so on the weak Chicago team once the big three departed. Still from what I've seen, he seems to be a very content individual and a very nice and intelligent person. So I guess he has no regrets.

    Toni Kucoc tenure with the 76ers didn't last too long. I think they liked Toni, but once the 76ers had the chance to get Dikembe Mutumbo, they had to go for it.

    • @diauntefather
      @diauntefather 7 років тому +4

      The Sixers gave away too much for Mutumbo. I as a Sixers fan, didn't like the trade. Philly offered Mutumbo a contract before he went to ATL... he stated he didn't want to play for a losing team. The Sixers instead picked up Geiger. If He signed the first time, we would of had a better chance at beating the Lakers. We gave up Ratliff, Sanchez, kukoc, Muhammad and Claxton for just Mutumbo and another individual who never played. too much offense gone for one defender who could of signed with us in the beginning.
