I miss the days of five dollar foot long just getting a basic foot-long at my nearest subway cost me more than almost $16. It’s so ridiculous I had no longer feel the need to buy from there anymore does not seem normal.
Back then the meat was high-quality and the price was reasonable. I have zero desire to ever eat at Subway again. Even if they reverted to $5, the ingredients aren’t the same, so it still wouldn’t be worth it. I’ll grill a sirloin and serve with fresh vegetables for a lot less $$$$.
I've had it with Subway! I hope they ALL close!! Walmart too!!
I don’t even acknowledge that Subway still exists. Even if they had high-quality ingredients again, it wouldn’t even be worth it with a good coupon because their “coupon deals” aren’t even deals.
I am in DFW and no Subways are taking the coupons at all!! They give a lane excuse and then expect you to give a tip no ma’am !!!

I sang the praises of the Subway clipped coupons on Yelp. But not anymore! Not after learning that you get what you pay for and you don’t get what you don’t pay for. It turns out that Subway corporate apparently does not compensate franchisees for the hassle of redeeming those coupons. Therefore most Subways do not “participate.” And as for the few that do, my experience is the “sandwich artist” will have ways of letting you know they don’t like dealing with clipped coupons, not even when you tip them when ordering on the app.
The Subway that I used to eat at no longer accepts in-app deals either. I no longer eat at Subway.....TOOM EXPENSIVE, even if they did still accept coupons.

They’re too rich for me now. Those regular menu prices are steak dinner prices.
@@IrixGuy my wife and I grabbed 4 sandwiches the other day and it was over $55 dollars…. I remember being poor in a family of 7 and subway was one of the few places we could afford to eat
