Thank you for honesty. It was hard to hear because it applies to me but also it helps to word it for others that I need to say it too. All I hear is money needed but if it’s money that you want the outcome to be why wouldn’t it take money to make that happen.

Thanks. Yes, there are a lot of things about the publishing process that are opaque and confusing. I also think creators can be very idealistic, but the truth is that publishing is a business, and if you want to build a career as a writer or artist, you need to learn the business side of things.
On the other hand, if you only want to write or create art for fun, don't worry about the business stuff!
