Good question - I added information to the description, but mostly for "In-Game Time" 1 second is deducted for each enemy killed, thus resulting in a considerably better time (you can tell the real time is almost five minutes).
When you say "used a checkpoint" keep in mind that there is no menu pause in this game, and the only way to get back to a checkpoint is to die, which adds 20 seconds of In Game Time, and since I can travel to all checkpoints faster than 20 seconds, it is never worthwhile to incur a death in this version.
