Koch Curve: The Beauty of Fractal Geometry
Вставка
- Опубліковано 13 лют 2022
- The Koch curve is a fractal curve constructed by recursively adding smaller equilateral triangles to each side of an initial equilateral triangle, resulting in an infinitely complex, self-similar shape. At each stage of construction, the curve has a finite length, but its total length becomes infinite as the number of iterations approaches infinity. The Koch curve stands out among other geometric shapes for its self-similarity and fractional dimension.
This video features animations to illustrate the step-by-step construction of the Koch curve with increasing complexity and explore its intriguing properties, underlying the mathematical beauty of fractal geometry.

I can't believe I just found this channel! As a fellow educational UA-camr and someone who has used Manim, I understand how much work must have gone into this- amazing job!! Liked and subscribed :)
Very helpful and detailed video. Thanks a lot.
underrated channel
Thank you very much. Finally came to terms with non integral dimension.
1:57 That’s the Mitsubishi Logo
Yeah, and Mitsubishi's website just says that it's derived from two old crests, one representing a family and the other, an employer. Was hoping they'd refer to the maths of the design, but *shrug*. Somebody knew about fractals when they were sketching.
#Outstanding 👏👏👏
Loved it! Amazing visualization! Thanks. Could we have some practical use cases as well?
First comment!
It's going to be loads of fun for sure.
Your time and efforts are much appreciated.
I'm gonna like the snow symbol ❄ from now on. ;)
Very cool. Nice work.
@@MathVisualProofs Thanks.
