@@PastorChuckha... hilarious...I love pastor Chuck and his teachings...but the Calvary chapel Church, as almost all "churches" do, crossed over into "capitalism" many years ago...as I'm writing this, pastor Chuck is talking about "greed". ..."in the world, but not of the world"...🙏✌️
The apostle Peter did NOT believe in a 'trinity'! This teaching came many, many years after he died! He firmly believed that Jesus was ther "Son of God" { Matt 16:16} When he received the Holy Spirit from heaven in the year 33AD at Pentecost he explained that "Jesus sat down at the right hand of God the Father and RECEIVED from God the Holy Spirit which you see and hear" { Acts 2:33} soon after he calls Jesus "God's servant"! {Acts 3:26) see also Matt 12:18 & Isa 42:1,2. Peter was a faithful humble APOSTLE, not a plush robed 'pope' like the ones who sit on 'thrones' lauding over others! Complete contrasts!
To those who claim Peter said "Our God and Savior Jesus Christ" are relying on 'trinitarian' biased translations! Even the KJV a very biased Translation reads "Our God and our Saviour Jesus Christ" ( notice the 'our' makes the difference!). If we are in doubt though READ ON! to verses 16-18 where Peter confesses that He ACTUALLY HEARD "The Lord Jesus Christ RECEIVE from God the Father Honour & glory with a voice from God saying "THIS IS MY SON THE BELOVED". No greater proof do we need that Peter believed Jesus to be NOT GOD THE FATHER, but His beloved Son! Peter KNEW that from his words at MATT 16|:16; "You are the Christ the SON OF the living God". Amen!

I dont wish to daampen your faith but as someone who has studied the bible for over 70 years I am still looking for just ONE statement in the bible, in any bible, that says; 'God is a trinity'. or 'There are three persons in one God' or 'God the Father, God the Son & God the Holy Spirit', please? ( I have found Matt 28:19,20 to baptise in the name of the Father and of the Son & of the Holy Spirit", I was baptised accepting that the Father is Almighty God, That Jesus is my savior and the Son of God. Also that I can receive Goid's Holy Spirit from the Father. through the Son. This I accept, but Jesus there did not say they are 'three persons in One God'! did he!

If you base your faith on the human interpretation and incorrect translation of the words Of our Lord & his apostles, THATS what 'Lucifer wants'! Peter did NOT believe that "Jesus WAS God himself"! No because when asked "Peter who do you say I am?" he replied "You are thr Christ the SON OF THE LIVING GOD". Thus in his Ist letter he begins this way "Blessed be the GOD AND FATHER OF our Lord Jesus Christ" { 1 Peter 1;3}. Thus it is a 'twisting' of the meaning of 2 Peter 1:1 to assume that Peter was meaning ONE person when he begain "Our God and Saviour Jesus Christ". He was speaking first of the FATHER , then the SON. { Paul also used the common blessing "Blessed be the GOD AND FATHER of our Lord Jesus Christ" ( see Eph 1:3, Col 1:3, 2 Cor 1:3). Dont let Satan fool you into believing what God has not actually said through His word!
